The series s is a great console for casual gamers. Pair it with game pass and you get a very affordable way to play next gen games. The biggest con is the storage size, which will fill up quickly with games. If you plan on expanding the storage, I would recommend just going to the series x which starts with double the capacity. The official storage expansion is over $200 for 1tb of data, so you aren't saving much money with the series s of you want more space. If you don't care about 4k and just want to game, the series s is great.

Like my disc less version as just a casual gamer and don't use it for DVDs works well and decent deals will need more storage space if you want more games ready

The Series S is the perfect console for next gen gaming. One of the biggest bonuses to this decision is mobility. The series S is small enough that it fits perfectly into a backpack. Mix that with any half decent portable monitor and you have a console that can be set up at home on a big screen or brought to the office for break room play, of course that depends wholly on the job you have and I can’t recommend shirking work duties for elden ring.

Warzone player here. Perfect to setup with a gamin monitor. Get it with AMD Freesync technology and use variable refresh rate. The x box has AMD freesync tech FYI. 1080p at 120fps. It’s the closest to a pc at a fraction of the cost. Fast load time and I am able to download warzone, multi player in Cold War and modern warfare. Memory is at 68%. No need got memory expansion if I don’t download the campaign etc. I pair it with the series x and go ham! Best bang for your buck!! Get it! You won’t be let down.

I have 3 Xboxes, 2 Series S for my boys and and a series X for me.

I’m loving my new gaming setup. Definitely a step up from the og Xbox One with the right monitor. For me Xbox has the better approach to next gen consoles over PlayStation. The series X targets 4K at 30-60 FPS and the series S targets 1440p at 60-120 FPS. If you do decide to go with a series S then be prepared to have at least a 1440p 120hz monitor or you won’t see any better performance over the current generation of console

I love it! I decided to get the S for my other room because I had the old, original console. This has been a huge upgrade and the graphics look real!!

The console is great new gen hardware last gen price and its a no brainer with game pass

I'm very simple not hard to please. When I am looking for my game systems. I call the stores via phone I check for games and systems availability once I verify the the system that I am looking for from the customer service rep. I purchase online and pickup or go into store and pickup

I have both next gen consoles you can’t beat this deal with Xbox all access it’s 25 bucks a month. Tons of great titles on game pass

Perfect for how much I use it. Did have issues with it being compatible with my external hard drive since its older.

I thought I would miss not having a disk drive. But the switch couldn’t be sweeter. Yes there’s not a ton of memory but with cloud gaming, and 1GB internet speeds you won’t even notice. Great if you have limited space and enjoy traveling. Paired with my G Cloud this thing is amazing !

Got this for my son’s birthday and he absolutely loves it! I also love the fact that we don’t have to keep up with dvd games and it’s all on the Xbox Definitely recommend!

Easy to install and the set up guided me to enter my account information, so it was easy to find and download my games.

If you don't need the optical drive, this is a much better deal for the price than the X. A heads up -- the new consoles work with your old controllers, however, there is a new framerate matching feature in the new controllers, so you can get some lag if you stick with your Xbox One controllers -- especially noticeable on FPS games. But the graphics quality, console size and features make this the better choice, especially given the limited availability and high prices of the Series X right now.

Oh man Microsoft out did themselves again! This little console is amazing and I upgraded from my XBOX One X. This thing loads so fast, getting back to my games is quick. It is much smother and clearer. If your questioning if this is good enough, well guess what it more then is. I feel this system is the way to go. I've been trying to get the Series X but it is so difficult. I got the Series S for my son for Christmas and was blown away on how awesome it it. so I grabbed one for myself. Highly recommend it.

The process of buying the Xbox was super smooth and very fast. The Xbox itself works great, I really needed an upgrade and Best Buy gave that to me!
