What more could you ask at this price point
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing system especially when paired with game pass. 1440p is perfectly fine imo and looks great, wish the drive was a little bigger but I added a usb c ssd portable (Samsung T5 500gb) for all the xboxone games. Series x was too hard to get (always sold out) and so freaking big, so I actually didn’t mind/kind of prefer series s. You’ll be shocked at how small it is when you open it.

Great for a young gamer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy has the best customer service & products. I bought this for my 14 year of son, who is comfortable enough with a gaming experience that includes playing only digital content since this Xbox does not take hard copy game discs. He loves the quality & content does not lag,

Powerful little system!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great little box. I thought I would be bummed about the lack of disc drive but with GamePass it's not really necessary.

Series S not the X but not too shabby
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good option to the series x. It has enough power to be an upgrade over the xbox one. I would suggest this if you are on a budget.

Xbox series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox series X has been hard to get so this system was a solid substitute. Don’t have to worry about buying games, just download them

Best console ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is truly an amazing console. I was originally going to buy the Xbox series x, but due to the current pandemic, I went with the cheaper option. I am so glad I did. The Xbox series s is so much better then people make it out to be. Really the only downsides to this console is the storage and the disc drive, but even then you can just buy and external hard drive with 2tb of storage. This console is complete and udder overkill for loading games such as gta v. It’s like only 5 seconds and the. You in.

Here we go. Again!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality gaming. Great price! Unit is small, way smaller then i expected. So much tech in such a small package. I hope overheating is not an issue. High end pcs need massive cooling. So far, unit is cool to the touch. Very quiet unit. Graphics are fantastic on 1080p projector. A 4k projector would be even better. Future purchase a must. The only downside for me with the new xbox units, No optical out. I use a stereo receiver and have always used optical for quality sound. Hdmi sound is great and all, but when using a projector to receiver to xbox, there are video issues. Now i have to use audio out on projectorto receiver. If you are using a tv, you won't have any issues. Overall, i give the xbox 4 stars. I wish companies would leave stuff alone. If it isn't broke, don't fix it! Should have left optical out on system. And a kinect port. Now i need the adapter.

Posted .Hey there,
Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback on your new Xbox Series S. If you're concerned about overheating, we recommend placing it in a well-ventilated spot with 2-4 inches of clearance around it and make sure that its vents are unobstructed.
Unfortunately, Kinect has been discontinued and is not compatible with Xbox Series S, even with an adapter.
Best,
Chuck

Cute Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned S model since it came out years ago and finally got an Xbox X. The S is awesome. I played it on a 2k monitor. Beautiful and fast. Recently I played it on my 4k. Also beautiful and fast. I can tell the difference when I hooked up the X model on my 4k, but still, the xbox S is a great (cute) machine.

Xbox Series S is a Game Pass Boss
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got my Xbox Series S delivered yesterday and so far I have been very pleased with what it is offering. Lets be honest, this console was built only for the use of Game Pass and that is exactly what I am using it for and its wonderful. Load times are a thing of the past even on older games in Game Pass that were originally very painful (Morrow-wind,Fallout 3,etc) Now I prefer my PS5 still for main play but this console lets me enjoy Xbox's finest in 4K and without any issues.

Good
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the cheaper option if you don’t want to spend the money on series x but keep in mind some games won’t be a true 4k..

Second Xbox S
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bough this when it was possible for pick one of the lucky, and the only downside is that I am stuck with digital games which I am okay with. Originally I was going for the series X, but they remain sold out, always have a plan B. I am glad that Xbox is backwards compatible with Xbox One plus Xbox 360, and the best part is that I am charged with credit card for 360 games. The only negative is that Xbox still relies on batteries AA to replace from time to time. Well done Xbox well done.

Xbox series s
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console that can play all the new games. The only downside is the storage is too low to enjoy 3+ modern games

Good Purchase even during the Shortage.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely worth purchasing this item but only at MSRP. To test the speed, loading in to Borderlands 3 and it was significantly quicker then the One S and it runs at double the frame rate from the One S. For this console in particular, it’s really good at what it does which is to run games at 1080p 120hz or at 1440p 60hz. It not ad powerful as the One X but it’s significantly faster then the One X. TL;DR buy this console if your looking into the next generation and want it at a good price.

Overall great console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first this was my only choice since I initially wanted the series x but since the series x was constantly going out of stock, I settled for the series s. And I gotta say for 300 dollars it’s actually a well worth purchase it processes games faster, and better graphics, so overall recommend for anyone not wanting to spend more than 300$. The only downside I can see to this one is that it all digital. So you’ll need good internet connection to download your games. But other than that it’s very good

Cool little gadget
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older samsung curved tv that was having memory problems so things would stop working on it correctly. So i deleted everything from the tv and disconnected internet to make it a "dumb" tv. I use this xbox as a media player and it in my eyes is even better than the tvs OS. I primarily use it for netflix, hulu, disney ect.. and it occasionally gets a game played on it. But its super quiet and does the job. And its not an eye sore like the series x or ps5
