Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Great value at MSRP
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent value for those who don't have 4k TVs, or who are okay with slightly less performance in 4k (fewer FPS in some games). Get a large external HDD for all your games (I recommend 5TB easyStore on sale at Best Buy for around $100). Console will be futureproof for some time, and if you don't care about the disc-free design, this is a great-looking, compact console that you will keep for years.

Love this machine!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was was lucky enough to get this when there were very little available. Its still working great, i use it everyday. The xbox is desinged to be more than just a game console, it works as an all around media device. The menues are very easy to navigate (much more so than the playstation) in terms of use other than gaming.

Awesome system!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know these are hard to find right now, keep looking. If you’re thinking of only getting the series x because of “better” game experience and you pass up the series s you’re making a mistake. I have both and honestly the series s is just as good as the x and it also loads a little faster then the series x. The only down fall is the series s is disc free so everything is bought through the store. Also, I would recommend getting the extra expansion card for memory.

Great value console
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, you cant beat this entry-level Xbox. My series X definitely outperforms it in terms of graphic and texture quality, especially when pushing 120 frames. Great for kids who want to play next-gen games and won't tell the difference in graphic fidelity.

Storage issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only complaint is that I had to buy an expansion card 2 days after turning it on. About half of the internal memory was taken up with only 5 games. Some games like marvel use over 80gb, so 500 gb goes fast.

Best Xbox I’ve ever had so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love how small, powerful, and quiet this console is and having digital only actually takes all the stress of storing physical games. Microsoft has put a lot of Xbox 360 games on the store so that’s pretty cool too. For the price this is definitely a great deal and the fact that the console is actually available right now in 2021 is a huge plus. I just wish I could find a ps5 somewhere but oh well this is more than enough for now

Next Gen with a small price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Next Gen Gaming at a great price point. May be less powerful than its counterpart but was a no brainer for my wife!

X-Box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting the product to be delivered after Christmas because I did go in 2 days before Christmas and purchased the system. To my surprise, I received the system the following day! It made my sons day when he opened up and saw his gift. Thank-you!

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Xbox! I didn't want the series x, only because I wasn't going to game at 4k, but if you are, I would go for that Xbox. If you aren't this Xbox is just as powerful, and it works amazing. It isn't even loud, and I can play all the new games on it. Also, only downside is the storage, I would for sure get an external storage just in case you have a lot of big games.

The mighty machine....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Series S is a little beast!! It is compact, silent, incredibly fast, and small. Silent with a consistent and smooth FPS with no stutters, and far better visual clarity, all for $300 bucks! The only drawback to the Series S, is the storage capacity. Microsoft save some money putting 512GB ssd but at the end.... you finished with 350gb** (approximately) to be used. But... you can still using your usb 3.0 or better portable drive to storage your previous (xbox one) games.

Posted .Hi there,
We're glad that you're enjoying the power and speed of your new Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. For more information, go here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-storage-expansion-card-for-xbox-series-xs-1tb-solid-state-drive-nvme-expansion-ssd-for-xbox-series-xs/6425015.p?skuId=6425015
Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.
We hope you have a lot of fun with your Xbox.
Happy gaming,
Chuck

not the best device but a good device nonetheless.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not as good as the ps5. less powerful than the X but worth the price if you really want to start getting into the gaming world. But i would rather save up for the X or the PS5. The ps5 has more exclusives that you cant play anywhere else.

So far, pretty good, but lots of extra costs
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I also own a PS5 and compared to that it’s not quite up to the challenge. That said, it has some things that it does well. Load times are great, and it has a built in web browser as well, (the ps5 does not) which was helpful setting up new internet! It concerns me that it runs so hot too. Not sure if it’s normal, but it’s still pretty quiet. The biggest downside is the controller. The stock controllers are trash, so I bought the Power A fusion pro as well. It completes the system for sure. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and the gameplay has been good for all the games I’ve played. Paired with game pass ultimate, it’s a good buy!

All digital Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I kept missing out on the Series X restocks, just had to settle for this Series S model. Combined with a Game Pass sub, it's a great all digital machine that can play a wide variety of games. With that being said, some cons are you won't be able to play any backwards compatible physical disc games you already own. Its fast 512GB SSD can be a bit small since after the system files, you only get about 364GB of usable space.

Worth the Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky to pick this up as a replacement for my Xbox One S. The Setup is really easy. If you have Game Pass, at $299 the Series S is a steal. The quick resume feature is really nice. The only downside is the small internal memory. I hooked up an external HDD, and you can play non X/S enhanced games from it. You can also store games on there and transfer to the internal. It takes about 1 min per 10 GB to transfer. Eventually I'll get and external SSD to increase the transfer speed.
