Customers are saying
Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Many appreciate the ease of use and fast load times, along with the benefits of Xbox Game Pass. However, some users point out limitations in storage capacity and the lack of a disc drive as significant drawbacks. The console's resolution capabilities also receive mixed feedback.

Capable and worth $300
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little system. I’m currently playing Halo Infinite and it looks great. It is capable at only $300 but I will be also buying an Series-X when I can get my hands on one. I have an over powered pc that I have become accustomed to, so the Series-S doesn’t give me the same impact on my monitors (maybe the series-X will be a better performer). All in all, I have no real complaints. For the money, it’s worth it.

Great for the casual gamer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last console was an Xbox 360. Looking to get back into gaming and this was a less expensive way back in. Since I'm not a big gamer the less powerful graphics compared to the Series X isn't a big deal for me. The experience is still fun for me, but again I'm not a heavy gamer with a discerning eye for graphics. 4 teraflops is less than 12 teraflops, but I have no idea what that really means =) Buy it if you are a casual gamer looking to play next gen titles.

Great, Except for the Storage
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Series S is a solid 1440p 120hz console. It's faster than any previous Xbox, features a compact design, and is built to take advantage of Game Pass without a huge price tag. The one drawback of this console is the limited storage space. If you're someone looking to play lots of game on Game Pass, you'll either have to delete and reinstall titles frequently, or upgrade the console's storage. However, the cost of the 1st party Xbox SSD Expansion Card is over $200, which is the exact same price difference between the Series S and the much more powerful Series X. For this reason, unless you want to purchase a slower HDD to expand your storage for less money, you may find it makes more sense to just purchase a Series X instead, assuming you can find one.

Posted .Hey there,
We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. As you mention, the best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. For more information, go here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-storage-expansion-card-for-xbox-series-xs-1tb-solid-state-drive-nvme-expansion-ssd-for-xbox-series-xs/6425015.p?skuId=6425015
Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.
We hope you have a lot of fun with your Xbox.
Happy gaming,
Chuck

A bargain next gen console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My brother's Xbox One was starting to SCREAM every time he turned it on. While I know he would have preferred the series X, this one was a bargain, and he absolutely loves it. He's now able to run multiple challenge runs in different games at once and with the new Streamlabs features Xbox is adding he can stream well too. If you don't have a UHD screen, then there's no need to look elswhere, this thing is amazing.

Xbox is worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: This Xbox is quite nice when it comes to size. Fits well in my entertainment center. It’s great on sound, not too loud and doesn’t seem to overheat much. Especially with having a decent sized fan on the top for ventilation. It connects well with any new or even older television and sound system. Cons: Still not enough space offered. With being digital there is a constant need to manage or limit games and downloadable content. Also might be good to offer additional colors. Ex: space gray, etc..

Microsoft has done something special.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't be fooled by the "less powerful" tag that comes along with this console. You're gonna get the next gen experience for a great value. COD Cold War, NBA 2k21 and Dirt 5 run buttery smooth and look beautiful on this console. As far as cons go, the expandable memory card is a must. A MUST! Games are huge now and the base storage will be used up in a short period of time. I know 200 bucks. . . . BUY IT! You won't regret. Welcome to the Next Generation.

Waiting wasn’t fun so I stopped waiting.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome, this system is flawless. The unit wasn’t available for what seemed like ever and then it was there, right before my eyes. Not sold out my mind said. I dare not believe it, my monthly budget hoped it was not true but it was. Now I got the new Xbox and it rocks. I am going to purchase one of the large companion external hard drive that is available to me. No matter how many gigabytes I get I always NEED more. I need those gigs.

Punches way above it's price tag.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Series S is an incredible console for the price. In a world where similar performing gaming PC's can cost up to thousands, getting this punchy little machine for only $300 dollars is mind-blowing. Everything the machine cuts out compared to the Series X, are only things that would improve quality of life. If you don't care about getting that 4K 120 FPS gaming experience, or don't mind uninstalling and downloading games constantly, then yes, the Series S is 100% practical, and well worth the investment. Especially if you are considering investing into other devices like the PS5, or are just strapped for cash. I personally wish there was more storage. If the Seagate expansion card wasn't so expensive, I would give this device 5 stars for sure.

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is a true next-generation console. It truly makes you feel like you're entering into a new phase of gaming. The PS5 controller, the DualSense is the greatest part of this machine yet- it critically immerses you in any game that supports its haptic feedback feature and reels you in heavily into the gameplay. Even when you thought you've had enough time playing games the new controller doesn't fail in making you want to the experience limitless fun even more so.

Amazing Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a PS5 and primarily game on PlayStation, however; I was definitely wanting an Xbox as well this generation due to the amount of exclusives in the works for Xbox. This Series S is EXACTLY what I wanted. A cheaper alternative that is still able to play all Series console games. The Series S is best paired with Gamepass. I love this little Box!
