Great second Xbox for your desk

I use a Mac for work but when I want to take a break, I switch my display to the xbox and I can game immediately. It's small, unobtrusive and serves as my primary gaming device when I'm playing games solo. I have a separate Xbox Series X in my family room attached to the TV which serves as my primary party/media consumption device. Only thing to note is that you can't be logged into xbox live with the same account on both devices at the same time. It will log you out of the other device.

By the time I write this review, I have finally purchased the X and have been highly unimpressed with the X and the lag/glitchy performance of my X. My Series S performed exceptionally better then my X does and for the value, the S is highly superior especially due to the manipulation of the availability of the X and price at which most owners have been forced to pay to get the X.

I was lucky enough to hit bestbuy.com on a day when the console was available locally and I snagged it! Connected and optimized the Series S to a 4K HDR TV and the console loads quickly and looks and plays beautifully! Game Pass is the way to go on this all digital device with the Seagate external hard drive, but looking forward to purchasing some digital games in due time. Thanks to the Mechanicsburg, PA Best Buy staff for all of their assistance with everything related to this purchase!

Great Next Gen Console for 1440p

If you are wanting a next gen console, but okay with 1440p gaming, then this is the one to get. If you have to have 4K, then you are better off going for the Series X. Otherwise, this is a great gaming console. Load times are very quick. The only thing I didn’t care for was the controller, but that is only because I have large hands. If you have large hands, then you might experience cramping after about 30 minutes or so of gaming. If this is the case, then the previous Xbox controller might be better for you since it still compatible with it.
