No Brainer at $300

Definitely a step up from the og Xbox One with the right monitor. For me Xbox has the better approach to next gen consoles over PlayStation. The series X targets 4K at 30-60 FPS and the series S targets 1440p at 60-120 FPS. If you do decide to go with a series S then be prepared to have at least a 1440p 120hz monitor or you won’t see any better performance over the current generation of console

Hard drive to game size ratio

Unfortunately Microsoft, as usual, has created a "catch".....the newest games are so large, you can only have 3 games at a time on the hard drive. In the world of terabytes & 21st century this, as usual, wreaks of "upgrade"...spend more$...
