It black screens a lot but I can usually return to the home screen. The controller had serious issues out of the box (shoulder buttons wouldnt work half the time). White is a lazy color for any console...yuck. Otherwise its a pretty efficient little box!!! Love playing games at 60fps and 120fps.

We have the X but my husband wanted this one for traveling with work. He loves it!

It’s I believable that they sell a completely online system with storage that only allows enough to store 2 games (at best 3 or 4 if you get the 1TB). It is such a disappointment that microsoft squeezes every penny out of their customers.

System is sometimes buggy, Xbox live profile will not load and you have to uninstall and reinstall profile as well as restart system and router/modem. For a system that has been out for nearly 2 years (granted hardly in stores) I expect small issues to be fixed.

It’s a nice console of you don’t like buying hard copies of games.

Works great for people who want to experience next gen gaming, but for the true enthusiasts i would recommend the series x. Especially if you have a monitor that will support 120hz at 4K

The Xbox Series S The perfect cost efficient little brother to the Series X. The Xbox series S is the smallest and is 4 times as powerful as the original xbox one. I decided to upgrade to this because my original xbox was barely working after 4 years. After 6 months of having the Series S I’ve noticed a ton of improvements. The Strengths of the console is definitely the smaller size. This allows the xbox to be able to fit in smaller areas the older versions wouldn't be able to fit in making it more portable than any other xbox. Another strength is the updated hardware. A new CPU allows most games to run at a buttery smooth 120 FPS. This new hardware makes games load lighting fast so loading screens are usually less than 5 seconds. Another big strength that this system has is the quick resume feature which allows you to instantly go back into a game exactly where you left off even if you had a different game open before. One of the weaknesses is the storage space. 512gbs doesn't sound bad but most new games are over 50 gbs so you will find yourself deleting a lot of games for more storage. You can however plug in a 1 terabyte storage card into the back of the console but that would cost an additional $70-$80 to an already $400 console. Another big downside to the Series S is that unlike the Series X it has no disc drive so you have to buy all your games from the online store which are sometimes more expensive than getting the discs. You also can’t use it as a blu-ray player like you could with the other Xboxes. Overall the Xbox Series S is not bad at all and is a hefty upgrade from the previous generation of the xbox. I was surprised on how quiet the fan was while playing even after long periods of time.
