I bought this for my grandson because it was at the top of his Christmas wish list. He was delighted and has been buying games for it with gift cards that he received!

Its not a extremly high powered machine and as the current gen gets more underway, the series s is starting to show its flaws. A kot of games are restricting you to 30fps

NOT THAT IMPRESSED. After trying since launch, I got one late April. I was excited, but really, so far it is no different an experience to the Xbox one! it doesn't seem any quicker, graphics don't seem any different, not many games available. it is probably ok, but not worth the effort needed to actually find one. Suspect the scarcity is just part of the marketing to make people think it is worth the money. Maybe I will be more impressed when more of the proper games come out (again back to the waiting game!) frankly the X/S optimized games basically look the same way to me they did on the Xbox One. and I am still sitting waiting for State of Decay 2 to load the same way I was before. the big fuss about backward compatibility perhaps is because there are so few exclusive launches. stop stressing about finding one and wait until there are more games that actually use the apparent leap forward in technology offered. and if you are one of the people who bought from the resellers...I feel for you, paying $300 is one thing, but I would be livid if I had forked out $500+ for this!

Have had this for over a year now. I am going to say that it is really not worth it. Ended up getting a PS5. Xbox S is underpowered and really not future proof at all. I can notice a big difference in many games when comparing the S series to an Xbox X or PS5. Would not recommend if you are into games and want to play at smooth framerates.

I tried to order 4 TV’s and your system canceled them out. Not happy with your online system. I ordered a Xbox and said it would be shipped to a store on a certain day. Not in. Went to Target bought Xbox. Put in mail for Christmas. Not happy. People in store were very nice.

In b4 should have got a series X. This thing should be able to use and external drive but yet there is none. Decent little unit considering series x is more expensive and harder to get. Also please bring back the gamers club

      Hey there,

We're glad that your son is enjoying his new Xbox Series S. If he has a Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, the rechargeable battery from that kit will fit into the controller that comes with this console, however you will need to get a standard USB-C cable to use it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts; we hope your son has a lot of fun with his Xbox.

      Happy gaming,
      Chuck
