But when upgrading to a new generation of Xbox, is that even a factor? You're investing in almost a decade of gaming and why wouldn't you want the highest quality. I cannot recommend the Xbox Series S, at least not at this point. Next-gen gaming is an investment so make the smart one and get the Series X.

If you haven't already returned it, we recommend making sure that it's placed in a well-ventilated spot with 2-4 inches of clearance around it and that its vents are unobstructed.
