While I primarily use an Xbox Series X for my gaming, I've got an XSS in my room and absolutely love it. It's got all the same speed and versatility of its stronger brother, but cheaper and easier to find. While you're better off holding out for an XSX if you're bigger into 4k gaming and all of the higher end specs that come with that console, this console is perfect for those that don't have a 4k tv, or don't care about 4k gaming. The ONLY cons this console has (for those that it affects) are the lack of a disc drive and storage size on the console.

This is just a dumb device. It is no fun at all. Too many loud splash screens of junk, and there is no way around it. Interface is difficult to learn for beginners.

I have to say was not good package never arrived and refused was never issued

I can't play left 4 dead 2 on it. Since it's discless.

Kids were sooo excited to get a coveted Xbox series x on Christmas morning and unconsolable when it would not turn on later that day. I get MS is trying to churn these out for the holidays but where is the quality control! Will be in the return line tomorrow.

Worked amazing the first week and then constantly i was getting stutters the second week and by the third week games would just crash into the xbox Home Screen! I was pretty disappointed because the form factor of this console was a total winner

Having multiple issues like it don’t load fast and the Xbox button on my controller I have to literally spam for it to come up but if I connect a keyboard it works fine.

Console is buggy and temperamental. Internet is full of problem reports that are unresolved. It worked for less than 24 hours before I started experiencing problems. I’m hoping I can get my money back for this and the games I purchased.

I’m a Sony person, I tried to support Microsoft but the Xbox I bought had to update just to play it and it continued to give a error code.

the console it self super good but you guys gave me a controller that didnt work

Not sure what I paid for honestly, any new game performance seems to be subpar on it and there's no way to even plug in an external disk drive to play older games on it. It's more or less a brick that costs $300

I bought this with the expectation of having not many flaws for a new console and it would have the occurring problem of shutting itself off with no reason and no warning to explain the error.

[Employee of bestbuy] broke after a year right after warranty ran out not to happy about that.

You know I would love to say it is amazing, a ground breaker. I can’t it died in me after I played for around four hours and I had to return it as defective. So beware of the early shipping of troubled products from Microsoft.

Tbh there’s really know difference in the old Xbox compared to this one here . I really couldve saved my money or bought the Ps5 honestly. This console and game selection is trash . I wouldn’t recommend this system .

Nothing but problems with this device! I’m not sure if we got a faulty system or what but we have to constantly delete and re download the same game and it works when it wants to

Terrible never had a problem ever with a series s overheating PlayStation is way better will be switching over fully disappointing dont waste ur money it will overheat

I bought about 6 controller in last 2 years becase it had some issues every time i got them.so i dont know if microsoft is making bad products.

Box was damaged a little when guy brought it to the car even I specifically said to put it in the trunk cause i had my child with me in the car.

Just returned mine. Never once did I get to play a game. Every game crashed, And I mean every game. I did all the troubleshooting stuff and still didn’t work. Should of listen to the reviews
