I've been a Playstation guy since PS1. The X-Box series|S is a great little console..... i wanted FlightSim bad and this was the most affordable way to do it. I can admit a ssries X might be better but when I got the S the series X was (and still is) unobtainable. The Series S sofar as been great and GamePass is a game changer. I have played 6 or 7 games I never would have even tried just because they are on GamePass. I would give 5stars but, yes there is a But the internal storage is TINY and you can't play nextgen (FlightSim or Forza Horizon5) on an external HD and Flight Sim/Forza take the entire drive... so to play my GamePass games I am constantly deleting and downloading

Bought this because I couldn’t get an xsx/ps5. Trust me I pretty much regret it after I bought it due to everything people say about the xss. Don’t let others do your review for you do it yourself people have different opinions of things or just expect too much of what they get. Save your $200 for the long run because at some point you’ll realize you have $200 left to spare for a new edition of the ps5/xsx. After all I’ll just stick to my xss.

This was everything expected and more. I would definitely purchase again. My son was a happy camper!

It's Great to bring in trips you'll be gone for many weeks and connected to any amount of internet to play your installed games, a better solution to cloud gaming in my opinion. It's great for lower budgets or if your a Pc or playstation gamer and just want to be apart of xbox community. Only thing that breaks and gets a star taken away is storage space while yes 512 is alot most of that is taken away because of the format of the Xbox operating system so you really have 300ish Gigabytes to download any games in in the main drive. If you plan on sticking with it long term get the Storage Expansion slot. So you can play optimized seres S and X Games.

The only difference in this an the Xbox One is a more powerful CPU, and a very slight upgrade for GPU power. VERY little difference, it also doesn't run the Enhanced versions of games from the Xbox One X/or Series X BC library. Instead you get One S/Original Xbox One versions of BC games. These favor or prioritize framerate over resolution. Which is fine for some people, not for someone like me who is a graphical enthusiast. I didn't buy a 4K TV to play games running at 1080/720/and even as low as 512p. That's why I kept my Xbox One X for the 4K graphical fidelity, and it runs and looks beautiful. The Series S is another money making racket from MS. As if they don't have enough. Why do you think these are so easy to find on store shelves just collecting dust. Because people are either buying the much more powerful, Series X or even a PS5. Most of us are not fooled MS. Don't try and pull the wool down over our eyes. Most of us can see what you're doing. I'm a PC engineer so I'm not quite that naive , but the person I bought it for doesn't care about graphics. So luckily I don't have to take it back. Also 364 of actual usable storage? What is this, 2007? Also MS should be sued for charge nearly what this console costs for additional 1TB storage made just for the console. Just wrong, sorry I'll stick to last gen with my One X and PS4 Pro.

The Performance is wonderful in still in great condition I’ve had to but 3 new controllers because Microsoft makes them very easy to break

This console along with a GamePass subscription is by far the most cost effective way of gaming right now. It’s so tiny! I have it hidden behind my wall mounted flat screen…that’s how tiny this is. I use mine as a second Xbox for the bedroom and it’s perfect. Been playing Halo Infinite without issues on it.

Bought the original Xbox and i didn't like it and sold it within a month. Decided to give this one a try. I have stopped playing my ps5 to play Forza main reason i bought the Xbox series s. Only downside is out the 512gigs only about 300 are available to use.

This is a 14 yo writing this but god this thing is good. I have been playing a lot of Fifa and Fortnite and I just wanted to say that this thing is a beast. I get 120 fps in most games and the games look really nice overall .

one downside is that your gonna be left with 300 gb of storage so get a expansion card. Overall its great fast and amazing. Worth $299!

Best consle for the digital gamers other than the kind of small storge

This system is fantastic! It’s small, quiet, and quick! I’ve been amazed with how fast it can load games. To me, it’s not the graphics that define this new generation, it’s how quickly it loads and moves through menus. Be prepared to invest in an external hard drive though.

This system is amazing, I bought for my son for his birthday, Its the cheapest next generation console currently out! I really recommend it, cheap and manufactured well!
