this is a very good gaming console if you don't take gaming seriously, the only downside is its disc-free so you have to pay a little more for games on the Microsoft store. it also does almost the something as the series x

$250 for this (Black Friday deal) is an amazing deal, especially with the GamePass for $15/month. Positives: 1. Form factor: Small and can be easily hidden, no moving parts. 2. 100s of games for $15/month (even many new games like Forza 5 and Flight Simulator). I do not plan to buy any games. This is like a "Netflix device for games." 3. Newer games look great to me. I am not sure what I am missing by getting the "X" instead of the "S". 4. New controllers for X/S are really nice and ergonomic. Negatives: 1. It does get surprisingly hot. 2. No disc, means I cannot go to the library and borrow games. 3. The storage is not really that great. OK for me, because I will just play 3 games at a time and swap them out. But that is about the max: just 3 "medium to large" games.
