If you can afford the X get it over this. Storage capacity is annoying. Other than that totally worth it

The item is great, although the decision on delivery was very sub-par. I ordered directly from a store nearest me and they (Best Buy) decided it should come from 3,000 miles away when it was already in stock from the specific store I ordered from. Fail on beat buy’s end.

Well the series s is starting to show that it is holding back the X. Baldurs gate 3 release on ps5 already. Was supposed to launch same day on xbox…nope. Because they having problems with the S. The S is fine for streaming movies and playing most games on gamepass. Its a casual machine at best. If you want to make sure your system will run newer games get a series x or ps5. But the S is a slap in the face from microsoft. But its microsoft. 3rd place every console gen.

Came with a faulty controller. The replacement Xbox sent was lost in the mail, and 3 months later, regularly contacting Xbox support, no one can help me get a new one sent. Honestly, if I could still return it I would, because this has been a headache and I ended up having to buy another controller because Xbox won't help me. All in all, I've wasted money and wasted way too much time on phone and email trying to get this sorted out.

I had my series s for 14 months and all of a sudden it stopped powering on. It’s ventilated, no dust build up, and I did an hour worth of troubleshooting from the Xbox website. After some online research it turns out this is a pretty common issue similar to the good ole red rings of death back in the day. I called Microsoft who wouldn’t let me talk to a real person I had to file a report with the BBB and Microsoft finally had a real person (I assume) contact me via email. Well Mr. Larry told me to pound sand, he responded to my email once calling me by a different name and in another email said he would replace my series x for a price… we had discussed my series s in multiple emails. Finally it came down to they offer me an out of warranty repair for $250. A new one is $300! Poor quality build and even worse customer service. I recommend buying a PlayStation.

The game itself is almost perfect. The HDMI output/ chip stopped working after 3 weeks. Unfortunately Best Buy wouldn’t let me trade it in and I only could send it in to get it fixed or I would receive a refurbished console which is un acceptable since I paid full price for one brand new. Beware purchasing both the series s/x because apparently this is a major issue for both.
