Great console! Wanted to upgrade my Xbox one and there was a major difference. Faster load time is a nice feature along with how compact the console is. The only downside is having a small storage.

I love this little thing. It’s so small and compact but full of power. Only limitation is the space. Get an external SSD to move games back and forth and it will help a lot!

I really like this console. You get a lot for only $300. Quick Resume is a great feature, although it doesn't always work and some games don't support it. Like previous Xbox consoles, the controllers use double-A batteries which is good in that you can always replace the batteries unlike Playstation controllers. Also, the amount of old Xbox games available on the online store thanks to backwards compatibility is arguably the strongest selling point of Microsoft's platform. My biggest complaint is the lack of internal storage and the fact you have to pay $219 to buy one specific memory card in order to upgrade, whereas PS5 gives you options.

Got it only because the series X is harder to find than Atlantis, but I’m very glad we did. It is significantly faster than previous gen and games that are optimized for series s/x look amazing!!!

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriends dad and he really likes it. It’s powerful enough to play optimized next gen games and able to do it free of discs which is one less thing he has to worry about. Out of the box, setup is very simple even for brand new accounts. Would recommend this if you don’t have a big collection of physical games and are okay with the less powerful hardware compared to the Xbox Series X as well as storage space. Other than that, makes a great gift for people who new to the Xbox ecosystem, especially with GamePass!

An excellent console, fast and quality gaming. Only problem is the storage. Why Microsoft thought the discless version should have the least memory is beyond me. Another cash grab for when they release the expanded storage version later this year. (Maybe wait for that? Or just buy the Series X if you can afford that!) The idea of spending an extra 300 bucks on a sea gate internal storage drive is ridiculous in comparison to buying one Series X or even another series S for the same price. The console is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. If you’re only looking to play a few games (less than 400 gb if you’re including the space the base software requires) then it’s a great price compared to the other options. But if you’re playing X/S optimized games and plan on building a collection, maybe wait for something better.

The best Xbox option. The value is unmatched and games look good even on a 4k display. With AMD FSR coming to games this will be the BEST purchase for next gen Xbox titles.

Its much faster. Some of the S/x optimized games are around/greater than 100GB so you might run out of space soon. It also cant play my old games but overall it was a decent upgrade.

its perfect for a 2nd next gen console, but it can't be your main. It compliments my PS5 well, I enjoy gamepass ultimate on the system and the ability to either dl or stream games

Slim design fits in home scene very well. Runs games in 1080p smoothly, and doesn't make too much noise even under high load. With the cheaper price than Series X I think it's really good value!

Like this system. I already have a ton of different video game consoles and have a lot of different kinds of Xbox games on my PC. Just wanted to transfer a few of my games to a system instead of connecting my pc to a 4K tv. Works great if you play a few games. It’s recommended to just get game pass since the systems hard drive can only hold a few new titles. Since the new titles general size are around 100 gb and after the systems operating system takes up about 180 gb of space. You’re only left with about 365 gb of space which means that this system can hold only a few games. Since I’m a casual gamer, that’s the best option

Great console very easy to set up doesn’t take much space very quick downloads

I'm not the gaming type, however, my husband and 16 year daughter are and they love the XBox. It's great to see them bonding over games. I have played Just Dance on the XBox and that is so fun. We also purchased the game pass as well which works seamlessly with the console. My 7 year old nephew also loves coming over to play mindcraft. I guess, his auntie and uncle have street cred with his friends because we own the XBox!

Well, it’s a one x in a slimmer form without a disk drive and smaller storage. It’s crazy how small this unit is. It’s less than half the size of the x and like 1/4 size of the ps5. This is so small and light I am going to use it as my traveling console, kinda sad that I can’t put disks in it though, but I am going to attempt to use an external Blu-ray drive.

aside from the storage which is also an issue on series x, the series s does pretty the same exact thing my series x does for half the price. personally I love the size of it the most

I recently purchased this bad boy & honestly for the price of 299 it’s an amazing way to get into next gen . Only downer is the lack of storage but that can be fixed . Other wise this console is great .
