good idea from microsoft to make an entry model at a lower price. ideal for 1080p 60fps gaming with either game pass or external storage etc. no disc

I gave this to my son as a gift for Christmas and he love it. The graphic are better and downloading the games are so much faster. I would recommend this new Xbox system to buy for first timers or upgrading your old system.

Small and super fast loading times. I love this console and it has plenty of storage for purchased games. this is perfect for me as I start to unload physical games. The price is very good considering the options offered

I wasn’t looking for the new Xbox, but I’m glad I got this. The system is much faster than my Xbox one and love that all my games are digital. No more switching disks to play different games.

I got myself a Christmas gift and so far I’m very happy. There are so many new fixtures in this gaming system plus for the price I’m very happy with what I got. So far used it few times and I can’t wait to take it for a spin

This system is amazing especially for the price. After getting my disc PS5 I sold my Xbox Series X to get this. For the Series S I know it's not the most powerful but I am not complaining alpng with my PS5!

Easy setup, great options, plenty of memory, game disks unnecessary, love it! I decided to choose this system instead of upgrading from my PS4 to PS5 and very pleased with my decision!

Bought for my other half. To replace her Xbox One S, It's a massive improvement for a fair price. Though I dislike the smaller base storage that's easily and quickly filled. Along with the fact that expanding that storage is massive cost sink since you can't just get a compatible SSD, you have to buy specifically from Microsoft.

Works great, looks great and fits perfectly into my setup.

Honestly great console, If your looking for an upgrade from the Xbox One S | X this is the perfect console for you if your on a budget and didn't play too many games. If you do have a big collection of games or disk games I'd suggest getting the Series X. Really the only downisde of this console if the storage but you can easily purchase more for it.

What can I say it’s the beat thing to next gen with out breaking your pockets, the load times are great, I did the load time on Xbox one x and it was 58sec to start fortnite on the Xbox series it took 10 sec, man it’s FAST

My daughter is very happy!! She is not a huge gamer, but enjoys games at times and streaming! She is happy so I am Thrilled!!!

I've finally set this up and I have to say, this is better than my old PC tower for gaming and even better than my Xbox 360. I can play lots of my older titles on here and it doesn't require a lot of space.

Easy to plug in and play. No game disc laying around and quick loads. The game pass is awesome with 100s of games available. Kids love it and so do I. Especially good since Microsoft owns so many gaming companies

It's not for everybody and hardcore gamers will want to wait for either an Xbox Series X or a PS5. WHO THIS IS FOR - * People who want to get in on next gen gaming without breaking the bank. * PS5 owners who want to play Microsoft exclusives or have access to Microsoft game pass. It's a perfect "game pass machine." * People who don't own or don't really care to own, a 4k UHD TV. * People who don't put a priority on having top of the line performance - i.e. non-competitive gamers, kids, etc. * People who don't need physical media for games / entertainment. WHO THIS IS NOT FOR - * Hard core gamers who want to take advantage of all the bells and whistles that the most powerful next-gen consoles have to offer (i.e. Series X & PS5) * People who want to game in full 4k @ 120 hz / 120 fps. The Series S maxes out at 1440p. * People with a large library of Xbox / 360 / Xbox One physical games and / or DVDs. The Series S is digital only. The jury is still out on how future proof the Series S will be once developers start really taking advantage of the Series X's horsepower. But for now, and honestly - I upgraded to a Series X - the differences are negligible.
