He was very excited to receive it as supply was very limited. The order process was very smooth and the item was ready for pickup at our local Best Buy a day earlier than expected. Overall, a great experience.

Does not have the features and capability of the Series X, would honestly just wait and spend extra on the Series X especially if gaming in 4K.

The good news is that you may use standard external hard drives to store games, and even play games that are not enhanced for Xbox Series X/S consoles. The Xbox One X is slightly better. I got lucky one day at Best Buy and they had the Xbox Series X in stock. So I returned my Xbox Series S for Xbox Series X.

It's not the best, but it's very useful and affordable. Excellent machine for Gamepass and streaming. It's a basic setup that doesn't make you feel left in the dust.

As far as graphics, it's not a noticeable difference from the one x on my my 4k TV. I'm sure you could tell a big difference on a monitor with higher framerate. The most noticeable difference is the load times for games and things just seem "more responsive". It's a good price to add to another room as I just added it to my living room and will wait to get the series x for my game room.
