I can only review based off of Best Buy’s service because I sold it the moment I received it! 5/5 would do it again!

Was able to walk in and go directly to the counter and did not have to wait at all for anyone to assist. My order had already been pulled and the gentleman went over all the warranty options and finished up and was out in less than 15 minutes.

So if you download a game like call of duty (close to 200 gigs). Plus all the updates. You will not have room for another big game. The external that is sold for this system is a total rip off at 200.

The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.

I have a ps4 pro, and a switch as well. The graphics aren’t enough of an upgrade at this price point, and coming from a previous gen console with 1 tb of storage that comes with the console, the amount of storage for this device is outrageous. Next gen? Ya, right. When most game are close to 100gb or more to download, you can only fit about 3 games on it. Not worth it. They want you to buy an additional storage card, which will add another $200 to the price tag, which is $499. Unacceptable. I will be returning this immediately. Staying with last gen until they figure out their mistakes and shortcomings. Also, the grip texture on the controller feels terrible, and it feels insanely cheap.

But wait for the S/X will be worth the extra money. I play Destiny and Borderlands both games have problems with jerky play and skips. Hopefully cloud gaming will come to this console. My be the fix it needs.

As the one that pays the bills, I’m disappointed that there is a fee to play with others. I’m not a gamer myself, so I don’t claim to understand everything that goes into creating games. Getting a console that then requires a monthly fee to do things he could do on his iPad for free is disappointing.

I just dont think the Series S is future proof. It makes me wonder if I should have waited for the Series X or PS5. I wont point the good because I feel there are already so many great reviews which I agree with, BUT, I must let you know what I have encountered. First, I download FIFA 22 and it looked horrible while playing matches. At times it looked like 480p. Seems like it was a problem solely with Series S. Could this be the beginning of a trend? Second, there is a problem with the Y button that I have read upon and unfortunately I encountered. It must be pressed down and does not work well if pressed at an angle. Which means unrecognized presses on competitive games. I like the console but does leaving me doubting if I should have waited. Good Luck!
