Good console for the bare minimum
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a new console and don't care for 4K, don't care about a disc drive if you play your games digitally, and don't want to pay an extra $200 for the Series X, then get the Series S! The downside is there's only 364GB of useable storage out of a 512GB that it comes with so it's recommended to get an expansion card with the console but it runs faster and smoother than the Xbox One at least.

Huge upgrade from Xbox One
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this instead of the other one in the Xbox Series, because the other one was out of stock. But I am not disappointed with this purchase. It is conveniently small and portable with fast speeds compared to my old Xbox One.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great console. Way faster than a last gen console. Better graphics, speed, and capabilities. Took me a few months to find one but finally did on the best buy website. Was worth the hunt. I would definitely suggest not skipping this console.

Xbox series S
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waited a long time for a series X to be available through Best buy but settled instead for the series S. Graphics and game play are definitely improved on the One but also falls short of the X. Storage fills up quite fast with the size of games and updates, to help this you need an additional ssd which brings th total cost in line with an X. Mostly happy with purchase, wish X had been available instead though.

This is a great upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice upgrade from my original Nintendo. Too bad I can’t play Mario on it. I guess I’ll never be able to save the queen since she’s always in another castle. The graphics are great! Way better than the boxy Nintendo graphics. I downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator and I am amazed by how it’s like you are really flying. I get so carried away that I fly for hours. It makes for an upset wife when I tell her I can’t do chores. You know you take take off in a plane on a scheduled 2 hr flight and stop the flight early. You have to land that bad boy. And boy did I grease the landing when I did. The landing was a 9/10. Anyhow this is a great console. Great apps and great games.

Xbox Series-S
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Console, very good purchase and would totally recommend to friends. Works great after a month of use, and was easy to pick up. Terrible storage though, might want to get a hard drive such as a segate to make your storage better :)

Nice unit
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compact well built unit....SSD memory a little limited at 512GB but you can expand memory further with memory expansion accessories. Happy with purchase overall, just remember there is no DVD loading slot on series S model

Needs a bigger SSD or better external options
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the size of this console and how fast everything loads. If not for the SSD that is WAY too small and the inability to use true 4k @ 120hz I would give it 5 stars. Since you cannot (currently) use an external SSD that isn't the $220 proprietary accessory Microsoft has to install new games on, the 512 SSD is extremely limiting. I was able to install 4 AAA games and had 3% left in space. In the short time I've had the console, its already become a problem for me. I recommend the series x for the extra space, but even 1TB seems too small for the amount of games that are 100gb or more.

Posted .Hi there,
We're sorry that Xbox Series S hasn't met expectations. Another alternative for adding more storage is to get a standard external hard drive. While games optimized for Xbox Series X/S may not be played from an external hard drive, older games that are not enhanced can be. For more information on which games are optimized for Xbox Series X/S, please go here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/optimized
Hope that helps,
Chuck

Travel size XBOX
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect for on the road gaming. Travel for work and this unit is small enough i dont even notice it in the truck. Buy an extra memory card and it holds all your favorite games!

Xbox series s
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best console for its price range. Can handle every game almost has good as the series x or play station 5 while also handling 120 fps. Great option if you want to be a competitive gamer or even if you play from time to time. Its the best option for both having a great time and also not spending that much money.

Nice but disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console other than only 2 games can be installed at a time. Only 2nd time I've seen one sold online and would have preferred the x. Definitely need external drive. Runs fast. Good graphics. Just disappointing

Posted .Hey there,
We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series S for the most part. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. For more information, go here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-storage-expansion-card-for-xbox-series-xs-1tb-solid-state-drive-nvme-expansion-ssd-for-xbox-series-xs/6425015.p?skuId=6425015
Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.
We hope you have a lot of fun with your Xbox.
Happy gaming,
Chuck

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s amazing for its price point. It has good graphics and FPS. I love the quick resume feature and it loads games up fast. It’s a travel size console and it’s a great console to get if you’re on a budget, but want to get into the next-gen experience.
