Truly impressive how solid the Series S is. Small, quiet, and well-designed. The CPU and SSD upgrades compared to last-gen really go a long way. No disc-drive but using it purely as a Game Pass device makes this an excellent value console.

Great console. I got this for my kids for Christmas. They played for not even a hour and our house started to catch fire. I had no idea why and I went into their room and saw the console on fire. Get these for your kids! They loved the fire feature.

This Xbox was what my daughter had asked for as a birthday gift. I happen to see a 1 day deal w an offer of $50 off. I was happy w my purchase and glad to save money.

Overall, it’s not terrible—it’s a nice streaming device, but overkill for that. For gaming, the problem is the tiny storage. It literaly only fits a few large games. And, of course, since they are large games, they take a long time to add, so once installed, removing to make room is bigger decision. No whims here. You must know what you want to play ahead of time so you can manage the storage. This would be greatly mitigated if I could pop in a game from my large library of Xbox discs. Nope. Anyway, I do get the move away from physical discs, but you have to have a lot of storage. Even 1 TB would only be just sufficient. Other than the storage issue, it would be a great option for a lesser powered console.

Being digital only at a lower price sounds good at first, until you start downloading some games and quickly realize the 500gb internal storage is an actual joke. BUT WAIT for more money we will sell you more storage space...... I think for this to have been successful it would have needed a solid 4-10tb of internal storage and still be priced under the "normal" console. Having to uninstall games to install new games is really annoying and if you buy one of the microsoft external ssds, well you may have well just got a normal series x. I do like the convivence of not having to swap discs but at the same time having to redownload games to make space is just as bad if not worse. Next gen i will def be buying the normal disc model.

Great console overall. It provides good power for an economic price. Would 100% recommend this console to anyone looking for a good reliable console.

I purchased this as a gift when other options were unavailable. While I may not notice a difference between consoles, my young children can use it effectively without my help. Additionally, it offers several online games that are suitable for their age.

Great price great product, expectations for younger children who aren't really ready for the PS5. Got the game pass, so in the end it's cheaper that buying games
