Affordable way to game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The series s is a great console for casual gamers. Pair it with game pass and you get a very affordable way to play next gen games. The biggest con is the storage size, which will fill up quickly with games. If you plan on expanding the storage, I would recommend just going to the series x which starts with double the capacity. The official storage expansion is over $200 for 1tb of data, so you aren't saving much money with the series s of you want more space. If you don't care about 4k and just want to game, the series s is great.

Great Console
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both the Series S and Series X consoles. Both are connected to 4K TVs. Is there any difference visually? No! If there is a difference, it is so slight as to be imperceptible. MS Flight Sim looks the same as do all the Halo games. So far I have yet to see a game where I feel the need to play it on the Series X. I bought the S first then the X. Why? The Blue-Ray disc player. The X is not only a game machine, it’s also my DVD/BD player. The S is digital only. I have literally started a game on the S and then later moved to the X and cannot see any difference in quality worth mentioning. If you’re fine with all digital, want to save some money, the Series S is a great console.

Good but needs disc drive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome new Xbox and great graphics. It just really needs a disc drive. Microsoft should make a Series S with disc drive option. Because I can't play any of the games I have on disc. It is a good system but if it had a disc drive I would give it 5 stars.

Great for backwards compatible games
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The series S is sleek and compact. The SSD delivers fast load times and the hardware itself provides improved frame rate over previous generation. The only gripe is you can't use the full 512 GB of memory and does not upscale image to 4K.

Wait for the X
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beast of a system. Although you sacrifice memory the Xbox still performs just as good as a series X. Personally I’d wait till series X become more available. I just got the S for the living room.

Perfect for Warzone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Warzone player here. Perfect to setup with a gamin monitor. Get it with AMD Freesync technology and use variable refresh rate. The x box has AMD freesync tech FYI. 1080p at 120fps. It’s the closest to a pc at a fraction of the cost. Fast load time and I am able to download warzone, multi player in Cold War and modern warfare. Memory is at 68%. No need got memory expansion if I don’t download the campaign etc. I pair it with the series x and go ham! Best bang for your buck!! Get it! You won’t be let down.

Great lil machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd xbox series s that ibuy. We have a total of 4 systems in our household for family fun. 2 series s and 2 series x. If u can i recommend getting the series x. This only has 400ish gigs of space. So if u need to buy the seagate expansion pack the 1 tb is alone 220, which this sytem with that expansion turns out more expansive then the seriesx. But if u just playing cloud games, this will do the trick.

Pretty solid budget console
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly only bought this because it was the only kind of next gen console I could get my hands on, but it's actually a pretty impressive piece of hardware. Runs smoothly and the games are legit. Only downside is the small storage space
