You can download up to 5 games depending on the size of the game. Like other next gen consoles you must have internet to play the Xbox.

Upon receiving this Xbox I literally creamed my pants. I had to to the restroom out of excitement. The Xbox is my dream come true. Thank you, Best Buy

If you only like having like 5 series s/x compatible games that are AAA then this is the perfect console for you. It is truly not a good deal but got stuck buying it dues to shortages.

The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. As you mention, another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.
