X versus S
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lacks storage and 4k. Overall if its your secondary gaming platform its convenient and affordable. I did had to buy the Seagate 1TB Xbox memory card since an external hard drive is only good for loading last Gen games. For optimized games or X/S games it only installs on internal drive or Seagate Xbox memory card for the $250. So, XBox X pays for it self since you already get 1TB, 4k player, and you can buy used games at GameStop for way less. but i got what i could at the time of extreme demand for any new Gen Consoles. And Best Buy was able to accommodate me at a professional matter. thank you

An excellent upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console it is great, honestly it is an excellent upgrade for those who can't afford the Xbox Series X or are unable to acquire it. Because it is much smaller than my previous Xbox, it doesn't occupy so much space. The games that I played, which are online mostly, do run significantly smoother and faster, so that is a huge difference.

Good console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my cousin as a early birthday gift. Xbox is a great gaming console, as someone who comes from PlayStation I can respect and value the console for it's speed, library of games and ease of use.

Next Gen Console on a budget
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing console for the money especially if your looking for next gen on a budget. This is way smaller than I expected which is amazing of you think about it. The only downside is that the ssd is only 512gb and with it being digital only you will probably have to buy the memory card if you have lots of games. Games load quick and have little loading screens.

Pleasantly surprised that it's an actual upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these for my kids for Christmas. I figured it would just be a smaller digital version of the Xbox One S consoles that they were replacing. I finally checked it out for myself and was very surprised to notice a big improvement in graphics. The Xbox menu is also a lot snappier in performance. The kids are very happy with it as am I.

A tiny beast!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little box plays games and does a good job at it! If you are not worried about 4k gaming and 1080-1440p for next gen games are ok with you, this console works great! I've got the Series X and S and this console holds it's own great. Flight Simulator ran really well connected to a monitor as did other games I've tested.

It’s good, should be less expensive in comparison.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system is good. No problems. It will get you in the game. I would have preferred the X because it is worth the price difference, but it has no availability. Considering the low storage capacity, no blue ray player, less powerful processor and lower resolution output than the X, this entry level box should have a lower price tag. Either that or the X is quite a value. The availability was the only selling point for me. Having said all of that, I’m glad It was available and I did not have to wait to start gaming again. I do enjoy playing on this machine!

Worth the hype
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you cannot find the Series X, this is the next best thing as long as you do not need 4K or disc reader. I bought this specifically for flight simulator and fortnite. It connected to an HD monitor now but did upscale well to a 4K TV. At 60% of the price of a series X, I would buy another! Its surprisingly small and quiet!

Worthy upgrade from last gen
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For context, I’ve been a Sony fanboy since childhood. I had the base PS4 before this became my first next gen upgrade. I LOVE the small size, graphics are a major upgrade, and load times (or lack there of) is worth the money. This hold me over until I get a PS5, but could certainly be your primary console. Game Pass is unbelievable.

Happy!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great deal! Just research specs of system! No disc tray and less space, but for the price its worth it if you play casual games like 2k or something. If you want to play cyberpunk or something, maybe consider the X.

It's okay
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's alright for an entry level console. Perhaps a PS5 user wanting to play a few games from gamepass, younger person, someone that owns multiple consoles, but nothing more. I have always been a dedicated xbox player and Microsoft dropped the ball in my opinion. The 512 GB SSD is laughable, especially when there is only 367 GB of space after you boot up the console and the extra storage you pay for you can just buy a series x. MS should have followed the footsteps of Sony and released an identical version of the series X but for $100 cheaper or maybe just to sell the console $150 cheaper. While I know that they just want to 'sell consoles' I don't for see this holding up for over two years. Glad I was able to get a Series X and return this one.

Nice System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really am enjoying my xbox its small and light and the graphics are very nice. I really like digital because you can buy the games online which saves me a trip to the store to buy a disk game . I recommend the new xbox digital for anyone looking for a great gaming experience

Clean and crisp
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this for our son and purchased an extra controller in his favorite color. The learning curve isn’t big and he gets to play all the games he wants with our Microsoft membership. He occasionally will want to purchase game packs which are so much easier to do than brand new games all the time. On special occasions we pop into Best Buy and get him a card for him to spend on the Xbox. We do have fast internet which helps in ensuring he has no buffering in his console. Looks so stylish on our tv stand too which is a plus. No more piles of games next to the console.

Game pass ultimate together with this will assure hours and hours of amazing entertainment with incredible graphics. Thought I might need X series but I’m blown away by games like Assassins creed that look phenomenal.

The S
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems more powerful than they claim it to be. I bought this to replace my One S and it can perform circles around that system! If going discless is your thing, this little system if a steal at this price! If you can manage and afford to get the Series X, definitely get that one, but there's no denying the bargain of the Series S
