First thing i noticed about this console is how fast loading times are. Theres few things that van ruin a game than to be staring at a loading screen. This console is fixes that. I hardly have time to unlock my phone before it finishes loading. And the graphics look amazing on my OLED screen. I really saw the difference going from the One X to the Series X. But this console isnt without its problems. All that processing power creates a ton of heat. My room will be 80-90 degrees after a couple hours. If the ambient temp gets that hot the console with overheat and power off abrubptly. Other than that its a good gaming unit.

I have had a few issues and two lock ups requiring a reboot when trying to exit older games. Overall I am impressed with the responsiveness and load times. It makes an awesome device for media consumption. Kodi runs natively as every streaming service I have including Spectrum which only supports this and Apple TV. I have connected a Thrustmaster TMX wheel and it works great. especially the force feedback. It runs VERY hot so it needs plenty of air around it. Also a great 4K UHD blu-ray player. Not too happy with many steps it takes to completely close a game or and app. This is my first Xbox since I switched from a PS4 and I am impressed.

The Xbox Series X runs games in 4K with high frame rates, and the difference is instantly noticeable compared to older consoles. Load times are short, so you’re spending more time playing and less time waiting. The controller feels familiar and comfortable, and overall the system has been fast and reliable since day one. It’s easily the most capable console I’ve owned.

One of the best Xboxes made, it’s a powerhouse and the support of VRR and 120 hz is phenomenal. The controller is so comfortable and responsive. I am team Xbox all the way especially because they make controllers for disabled people, options for color blind, voice activation features and more because they want everyone to share in the gaming community equally and enjoy being part of the community!

In every sense, the Xbox Series X is leaps and bounds ahead of my old Xbox One S in terms of performance, graphics, and overall user experience. The backward compatibility with older titles is a blessing as well; even though I spend less and less time with older Xbox One and 360 games, it’s nice to know that I have the option. The new controller feel and grip are fantastic - it took a moment of getting used to, but it feels better in my hands than the previous generation did (already the gold standard, in my opinion). It was well worth the hassle of standing in line in the middle of the night for a chance to get one!

Thr xbox one series x is super fast and really quiet. The graphics are superb as expected. But what surprised me most was the incredible loading speed and how unbelievable quiet the console is

Upgraded from a Series S to a Series X a few months ago. I wish I would have done this sooner. Better performance and enhancements on games I play day to day! Console does not get as toasty as the Series S!

Excellent console as always. Superfast frame speed and no lag while playing games. If you have a good fiber internet connection, it has no issues during the live gaming sessions. Controller is the usual feel as before. Slim profile vs. the prior bulky console. Breeze to set up. Log in, update and off you go... happy gaming!

As soon as I hooked up the Xbox I could instantly tell a difference in the visual graphics and the frame rate. And with the storage I can download so many games and not have to worry about lagging or getting frame drops. The 120 fps in games is crazy smooth with no stuttering. I’ve gotten many of my other friends to purchase the Xbox, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes playing games.

The lack of games and a user interface that makes me wonder if Microsoft even tried make the Xbox Series X a tough sell for all but the most hardcore Xbox fanboys. The hardware itself is brilliant. It’s powerful, boots quick, and is nearly silent. It can be displayed vertically or horizontally, but looks best in its vertical position if I’m honest. The controller is a nice revolution of the already decent Xbox One controller, but doesn’t stand out as anything special. I give the system 3 stars because the UI is just bad. It’s confusing and makes it difficult to do anything. The blu-ray player app, which has to be downloaded from the App Store hasn’t been updated since 2016 and has major comparability issues with Blu-ray Discs (4K and regular). Enabling Dolby Atmos support requires downloading an app from the App Store and works inconsistently at best. And, my last major gripe is the lack of software. While you can play most Xbox and Xbox 360 titles as well as all Xbox One titles, the system suffers a lack of exclusive titles that show off the power of this fancy new system. All the games are also available for PC or other platforms, which makes the system a must own if and only if you don’t have a PC and can only afford one console...

I was lucky enough to get this console Day 01 of its release. Crazy Fast. Quick Resume. Game Pass and More. The controller looks and feels great and the Series X really looks nice in person. The top bevel green effect really makes it pop and it's nice to finally be in the next-gen era. Game Pass is an amazing value but I will say (as of this writing) that there isn't any "Series X Killer Apps" out yet. Yes there are enhanced games, but it's not the same (and you know it). If you're not hardcore like I am, it may be best to wait until the developers catch up with the hardware (which is an exciting statement to be making again).

I have been playing on xbox since the original one came out. The series x to me is just and upgraded xbox one x. The games looks good and the interface is the exact same as the previous generation so there is no learning curve. The ability to quick resume is nifty but there does not seem to be a way to tell which games support it and which ones don't. While I am sure in time games will truly optimize the x hardware but at this point in time there is nothing special about the series x. If you have the xbox one x there is no real reason to upgrade right now unless you just want to have it. I am sure it will be a great machine and there is nothing negative that I can say about it.
