Solid Console

No regrets. The 4K 120hz is impressive but having better performance (load times are noticeably faster) and access to newer titles is worth more.

Great upgrade from One S

The One S was my first Xbox, and I upgraded to the Series X. It's basically going to be my Game Pass machine. Game Pass is a great thing to have, and the Quick Resume feature is also very very nice to have. I do wonder how much energy the instant-on power mode uses, as sometimes the console is warm to the touch even in the sleep mode. But other than that I don't think I have any complaints. Transferring from my One S was seamless.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have been searching for a bit to grab the Series X, ended up breaking down and going through the all access option. Since they had the product in stock at BB. Made the purchase, got approved, and was told pick up would be Friday. There was nothing till about 6 pm Friday, when I got an update that my pick up was delayed but no specific date was given. Kinda stressful, but woke up sunday to an email saying the product is ready for pick-up, so all was good. The Xbox itself is a huge upgrade from my old one S in absolute every way, except I didn't account for how much larger the console is. GamePass definitely has a very solid selection of games for the money spent. Storage could be larger but stored about 10 games on the internal SSD, and bought a Western-Digital 2TB external SSD for everything else.

XBox Series X Bundle through Citizens Bank

The 2yr membership with game pass included is much cheaper than buyong separately over the 2ys in comparison. The graphics are pretty good, considering i was on a gaming hiatus and the last time I played a consol, was the XBOX 360 back before 2009. I decided to choose this over the PS5 because of the membership plans and Game Pass far exceeding what PS5 offers.

It's fantastic to hear that you've seen how great games look and play on Xbox Series X. Installing games that have been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S on its internal SSD is an excellent reminder, since they are optimized to play only from the SSD. Older games that aren't enhanced may be played directly from an external hard drive, though. We hope you have a lot of fun with your new Xbox.

Amazing graphics and fast load times. The gaming experience on this console is on par with (if not better) than that of the PS5. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either console. However, if you're Team XBOX, the Series X does NOT disappoint!
