A Christmas gift for my teenage son. He was super pleased with the gift and I was happy with how easy it was to set up and transfer info from old system.

I like the fact that my old Xbox games are still compatible with the new system & Xbox controllers

This console is absolutely incredible. It’s extremely fast and is absolutely silent. It 100% is worth it and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Although not really a gamer I picked this up on a Black Friday special. Wow, what graphics and speed!!! 4K looks amazing on an LG OLED 65" TV. Wow!!! Not thrilled with needing the internet too much, but otherwise good. Not all of us spend our time online. A few hours here and there in bad weather.

As one who has been an avid gamer for many years and who utilizes the xbox as the center of a home entertainment center, I must say it is excellent. The speed and responsiveness of the OS as well as the controller is very good. I contemplated building a new gaming PC, but for the price, this could not be beat.

I've had it for about a year now and it's by far the best console I ever owned. I honestly do not get the bad rep that it gets. No regrets what so ever for this purchase.

Waited a while to upgrade to the X but was not disappointed. Big improvement over older consoles in every way. And, the low price at BestBuy, coupled with the BestBuy giftcard awarded to you if you buy it at BestBuy, made it the lowest price around. Ordering and delivery were quick and painless.

Not much to say about the series x. It's a top tier console. I decided to go with the Xbox all access financing, as I already paid for GP Ultimate. Other companies' sites were difficult to use. Best Buy was streamlined and easy. I was able to set the order up while out of town for work, then just stop by and pick it up. A++

Pretty much a better Xbox one . Not really a leap in software or anything just better performance n graphics .

I have to say this is the best console Microsoft was made since the Xbox 360. it offers all the latest gaming features such as 4K, HDR, VRR, etc. It lacks a USB-C port and WiFi 6; I think that was a miss on Microsoft's side. Otherwise, the gaming experience on this console is fantastic, and when it comes to raw power, it's the most powerful console ever made. It tops the PS5 when it comes to hardware specs. Both consoles are great, and I have both of them.

I pre-ordered the Series X with Mighty Ape the very moment it went live. My console arrived at 10am on launch day (Christchurch). Although the Series X enhanced games are pretty thin on the ground this early, I can tell you guys that it's a pretty freakn awesome, and solid console. Step one was downloading the xbox app on my phone so I could set it up remotely (which was something new). 10 to 15 minutes later I was all set up and updated and the console just ran without an issue. All settings from my xbox one just crossed over and I was even able to plug my existing USB external hard drive I used with my xbox one and play all games instantly with no extra download or setup. Running games off of an external conventional hard drive wont be as fast as the SSD but if you dont care about saving 20 seconds then it's all good. Yes the xbox one games I played looked better and ran smoother (although im comparing it to the one s not the one x but the difference is noticable) - Modern Warfare was hugely improved. GTA online looked similar but the frame rate was just smooth as silk. Im actually noticing that original xbox 360 games look really nice and run smooth. Its as if the textures are smoother but I dont know how thats possible or if im just seeing things - however Left 4 Dead 2 was a really nice experience. I even tried an original xbox title (Star Wars Battlefront 2 original) and the game looked wonderful with upgraded reolutions. The Series X is quiet too. Its on the desk next to me as I type this and I cant hear a thing. My experience is completely positive so far. My xbox one controllers also pair up seemlessly if I want to use them. I can't fault this thing at all - When content for next gen games and upgrades start rolling out this thing will be epic (So far I can say that Modern Warfare and Star Wars Squadrons seem to look particularly good visually) - One quick discIaimer though - I am currently using a standard 1080p computer monitor for now (my 4k tv is in storage as Im moving house) So all of these observations are just in standard 1080p but even that looks better - im looking forward to seeing it in 4k. Does what it says it will. Loads fast. Good quality. Good frames. Good deal with XBOX game pass. Easy set up. Graphics are outstanding.
