Xbox Series X is using the RDNA 2 architecture from AMD. While they thought that the PS5 was using RDNA2, that does not seem to be the case according to a Sony engineer and game developers. Why would you choose an inferior product. Smaller size is nice also.

Along with game pass this is a good gaming experience. Just buy a additional rechargeable battery and replace the defaults one and then you are good to go.

IF you can find one, worth it

The biggest issue is one of availability, I've been trying to get one since release and it was finally available May of 2022. Thats not really anyones fault though, times are crazy.

Best Buy made it possible for me to purchase this when boys were everywhere due to their great management with restocking and made it easier for me to snag one. I would not have been able to have gotten this if I went on any other site.

Plays games noticibly smoother compared to Xbox One X. Quick Resume is a great feature for switching between games. They kept the IR feature with this console as well. This allows me to continue using the Xbox Media Remote as I have since the Xbox One.

Xbox Series X - MS nailed it

I thought my Xbox One (from launch in 2013) was good enough. Man was I wrong. This system feels like a whole new experience. So smooth, graphics are top-notch, and even the feel of the controller is better. Paired it with a Sony X900H - absolutely stunning picture. Looking forward to the upcoming games.

Coming from the “OG” Xbox one, I’m blown away with the loading times that are often 20% of what they used to be.. incredible graphics AND a silky smooth 60 frames. I had to fight tears twice on the first day at the beautiful sights as I was re-experiencing the magic of gaming all over again, felt like a kid again.

Fast load times. The storage expansion card slot was a nice touch. The only thing lacking is more internal storage.

Initially, I wasn't a huge fan of the cuboid design, but really once it's set up next to all the other entertainment equipment, it just blends in. The graphics are amazing and game play is smooth and immersive. I also love that it is backwards compatible with so many old games.
