After months of waiting, I was finally able to get my hands on the Xbox Series X at MSRP through Best Buy, without having to pay outrageous scalper prices through other sites. The console is bulkier than previous Xbox generations, but it can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. The console is extremely quiet, even when playing graphically demanding games like Elden Ring. When paired with a 4K HDR television, the graphics this console can produce are stunning; playing "The Matrix Awakens" (the free Unreal Engine tech demo) offers a glimpse of what this hardware is truly capable of. In addition to the 1 TB of internal storage and a 1 TB storage expansion card, the USB port on the back of the console allows me to play my Xbox One games through an external hard drive, for a whopping 4 TB of total storage. Thus far, I've noticed no loss of performance playing Xbox One games in this manner. In summary, this console is everything they claimed it would be, and I can recommend it without reservation.

First of all, this xbox is GREAT!! It is quiet, looks beautiful, is small, and fits great on a desk corner. Games run sooo fast! As an example: monster hunter takes about 3-5 minutes to load after hunts on the xbox one original. It takes less than 2 seconds on the series X. For almost all games I play, I am usually the first one loaded inn and in the action. Apex runs smoothly, and colors looks beautiful! I have a gaming monitor which goes well with the console specs! The only caveat to getting it now is that there are minimal new console games putting it to the test, but Xbox has done a great job with backwards compatibility and improvements from games as far back as battlefield 4 and titan fall 2 to new games like madden, apex, and fortnite. The controller is great, although I prefer my elite 2 controller. Xbox definitely blew PS5 out of the water this time, exclusives aside, but xbox is becoming the clear cut winner. Attach a gaming keyboard to this and you have yourself a mid level gaming PC in 2021 standards!

I was finally able to pick this up through Best Buy yesterday and it is a wonderful machine! I was originally worried about the design being a bit dull but it actually looks very neat and sophisticated in person. I especially love the vents at the top of the machine. As for performance, the system is as snappy as you would expect. I have been testing FIFA 21 and Forza Horizon 4 and both games have performed perfectly with minimum load times. Not to mention the graphics look fantastic on my Samsung 4K TV. I also love the user interface and have spent some time customizing it to make it look simpler. The controller is superb to hold and has a great, comfortable feel to it. I do wish it was a little more ambitious than the Xbox One controller which it resembles but it gets the job done nicely. All in all I am loving this console and look forward to playing some great games on it!

The Xbox Series X has been an incredible upgrade to my setup. Load times are practically nonexistent thanks to the SSD, and games look fantastic in 4K with smooth performance. Even during long sessions, the console stays quiet and cool, which I really appreciate. Quick Resume is one of those features you don’t realize you need until you have it — jumping between games instantly feels like magic. The controller is comfortable, responsive, and familiar in the best way. Overall, the Series X delivers power, speed, and reliability. It feels built for the future, and it’s been a flawless experience from day one. Highly recommended for anyone who wants top‑tier performance and a rock‑solid gaming experience.

Works great, no issues so far and the Best Buy warranty is a good add on. I think the two best things is how quiet it is and also the quick resume feature allowing you to swap between games/apps in seconds right back to where you were.

Xbox Series X is insanely good!

I got the Xbox series X for Christmas this year. I previously had the Xbox series s and was happy with it however, I wanted more power, more storage, and a console that could take disc. I could not have been more happy with the Xbox series X. It is crazy fast (about the same as the series s but faster). The games on it are good and game pass is insane. And the storage is enough for you to have fun for a while. This is the best console I have experienced (had a Wii, Nintendo switch, ps4, ps5, and Xbox series s. If you guys are looking to maximize your performance and have a wonderful time I would 100% recommend this!

I purchased the Xbox Series X from Best Buy as a gift for my son, and it was absolutely worth it! The performance is incredible—fast load times, stunning graphics, and a smooth gaming experience. My son has been raving about the improved gameplay and how much he loves playing his favorite games on it. The setup was quick and easy, and the console runs quietly, even during extended gaming sessions. Best Buy's service was excellent, with fast shipping and secure packaging. I couldn’t have asked for a better purchase. If you're considering getting one for your kids or yourself, I highly recommend it!

This a console that transcends the previous. I mean, it is insane. For the price you can run almost everything at 4k 120fps (of course limited to a few titles that don't have those capabilities or monitors/TVs that aren't able to display that). It's completely silent compared to Xbox One S. It runs amazing and doesn't have many draw backs. The only thing that is worthy of complaint is the fact that it doesn't have much storage. 1tb is really closer to about 800 gigs. But, I bought the 2tb memory card, and that gave me a lot of space for games. I would recommend for anyone who wants to start playing games for a cheaper price than most gaming computers that are equal to its performance (of course, if you're planning to play mostly cross-platform fps games or Xbox exclusives). The one thing I would recommend besides the console is to grab an after market controller that has hall effect sticks so you don't get drift. Other than that, if you take care of your controller, it'll last a couple years.

As always, this next generation of Xbox doesn’t disappoint. Great graphics, speedy startup and a very robust lineup of games available through Game Pass, what’s not to love? For the bad stuff, yes, it runs super hot, it takes up quite a bit of space, and pricey. That all disappears when you get immersed in the environments that the games hold. Another solid addition to the Xbox line of consoles. I can’t wait to see what games come out when developers really utilize the power that this console offers.

I ordered the Series X using the Xbox All Access and i would absolutely do it again. This included 2 years of gamepass as well as the console. It was cheaper to buy this bundle than two years of gamepass and the console separately. I had no issues getting the console nor setting it up. I didn't like that BB put the order sticker directly on the packaging but that is not an order issue directly. The line of credit was for two years, interest free. I have had no issues with this either. The Console: WOW. I have always been a person to wait to upgrade until I have no choice and I really wish I had gotten this sooner. The Series X has been an amazing console. It runs all my games smoothly, the optimized games are incredible, the upgrades on older games are fantastically done. The disk drive is smotth and quiet. The console is quiet too! Rarely do I ever hear the console when running except in a hot room playing a graphics or performance intensive game. It comes standard with 1TB of storage which can fit many games or a handful of large games such as COD.

I recently bought the Microsoft Xbox Series X Console from Best Buy as a gift for my boyfriend, and it has been absolutely fantastic. He loves it and uses it every day. The Xbox Series X looks sleek and performs incredibly well. It loads games super fast, thanks to its SSD storage. The graphics are stunning, with 4K resolution and HDR support that make games come to life. What's really cool is that it can play older Xbox games too, so my boyfriend gets to enjoy his favorite classics with improved graphics. The controller is comfortable, and the Share button makes it easy to capture and share gameplay moments. Not only is it great for gaming, but it also seamlessly integrates with streaming services like Netflix and Disney+. It has become the center of entertainment in our living room. Overall, the Microsoft Xbox Series X is an amazing console. If you're into gaming or searching for a gift idea, I highly recommend it. My boyfriend is thrilled with it, and I'm really happy with this purchase.

The Xbox series X is amazing! I needed to replace my Xbox One and the series X is perfect! I’m able to play more games on game pass that I couldn’t with my one, the download speed has at a minimum doubled and the graphics are a noticeable improvement! Plus, I bought the regular series X, so it has a disk drive that I can play all of my old games with. I am more than happy with my purchase.

Just do it! This is true next-gen performance. I cannot believe the difference even coming from the Xbox One X. The SSD on this thing makes game load times literally non-existent and it's truly awesome. Games look even more amazing on my 4K TV. Quick resume is a neat feature. Controller is almost identical to the Xbox One with a few minor changes and overall being a bit smaller. I love the fact that everything from last gen is backwards compatible including accessories and don't even get me started on Xbox GamePass.. Xbox really out did themselves on the Series X. If you have a 4K TV, I definitely recommend getting the Series X over the Series S. 10/10 I recommend.

I am a long-time PC gamer who finally got fed up with dealing with conflicts between Windows updates, hardware and games and went the way of the Xbox. I started with the 360, upgraded to a One and then to a Series X. I love the ease of use of the Xbox in general and the performance of the Series X is so monumentally better than the One (or, of course, the 360) and the games look so good on my 4K TV. I've added a nice wheel & pedals setup on a frame for racing games (I wish more games supported wheels) and joystick/flight controller/flight pedals for Flight Simulator. I do wish I could get a mouse and keyboard that worked with FPS games as I've never learned how to play them well at all with the gamepad. I occaisionally watch Blu-rays (both HD and UHD) on it as well. I do wish the price of the external SSD would come down as much as SSDs for PCs have, but that's another thing altogether. Hard to believe you can get this much horsepower for the price of a midlevel video card for the PC!

Though nothing in life is perfect, I do LOVE the new Series X. I think it is in dire need of refinement however. As with anything when you buy among the first round of products launched, you experience all the bugs. I’ve had it crash when playing Gears 5, I’ve had it have issues connecting to controllers already connected to it, and I’ve had to hard reset it for a number of reasons. But! I love it. The load times are INSANELY short! When I play Gears 5, I’m the first or one of few people waiting for others, even PC users to load into the game. The graphics are astounding! 120fps at 4K is absolutely wonderful! It doesn’t throw heat like the old 360s, it does cool very well though! It’s got the expandable slot for the new Seagate card and I paired it with another usb SSD for 4TBs of total space so I’m pleased with that. Overall, the Xbox we deserve as gamers right now. Pc gamers, eat your heart out!

My first Xbox and it's excellent. It's quiet, fast, and game pass (barring the price doesn't skyrocket) is great. And the monolith design is the best. A downside is the expandable memory is expensive and the price doesn't move, the controller needs an update and no rechargeable batteries is just cheap.

I’ve been using the Series X for a while now and honestly, it’s been awesome. Super fast, super quiet, and it just works. What really makes it worth it for me is Game Pass — having access to a huge library without having to buy each game separately is a game-changer. I’ve tried way more stuff than I normally would, and it’s all smooth and snappy. Setup was easy, the design is clean, and it fits right into my setup. If you’re into gaming and want something powerful that doesn’t make a fuss, this is it. Want me to tweak it even more to match your tone or mention your modular setup? I can make it feel even more like your voice.
