This Xbox is a very nice upgrade from my original Xbox One S and feels much more powerful and I like the design. It has a familiar feeling which might not please everyone for being a next gen console but I think it works well due to it already having a good enough UI and menus to navigate. The speed of loading games is blazing fast and games look really good on maximum settings. It has not a lot of exclusive games which is a bummer and if you already have a PC I would recomment the PS5 since you can already get Game Pass on there, one of the main attractions of the Xbox. The Xbox also is very quiet even after playing 4-5 hours straight of Cyberpunk, which runs well on the system. Same software, better hardware, overall an upgrade but until next gen exclusives from the likes of Bethesda, Obsidian, and other studios come in you might want to wait awhile for more Xbox’s to be in stock and have more value.

The Xbox Series X is an excellent gaming machine and all around media device for the TV. Of course it's great at playing games, as the PS5 is as well, but as far as usability, network reliability, consistency, and the ability to play an extensive back catalog of games from their previous consoles, the Xbox is the choice to go to. It's easy to use and navigate the menus, has better network speeds for downloading games and less lag when playing multiplayer online. On top of playing games its great as a media center being able to play disc based media, as well as stream music or your go to streaming service for movies and shows. Certainly other consoles can do the same, as I spend time on them too, but beyond the couple exclusive games I enjoy to play, the ease of use, network speeds and speed of the Xbox's online services keep me there with it being the go to for not just gaming, but everything else too. The only thing you're left with wanting is larger internal storage because the new generation games take up a lot of space and if you want to play them to their full capability, they have to be on the internal storage.

This is an amazing console, fairly quiet and doesn’t get too hot. Really sleek design. A lot of customization, comfortable controller. Game-pass ultimate is such an amazing deal. Only downside is the 1tb of space model as call of duty takes up over a quarter of that. And with the systems use of storage your down to abt half available storage. Other than that I love this console

Glad I was finally able to get one of these finally. It's a really good deal to grab one along with Game Pass Gold, or Ultimate. Graphics are great, but the ability to try games on a monthly basis, is a really nice bonus. Have been able to play thru the entire Halo franchise as well. A little expensive, but if you are a fan, worth it.

    Best Console I've Ever Bought

Between the Game Pass Ultimate and the device itself, this can't be topped. It replicates the performance of a solid gaming PC for a fraction of the cost. The device looks sleek and performs without issue other than it being warm and in an unventilated room, it definitely heats up the place. Still, I use it most days out of a week and is just an excellent product.

Purchased it through the best buy app. It was available for pickup within hours. I came to the store and was assisted quickly. The console itself is great. It's my all in one solution in the office for media. I can play games using either physical copies or purchasing online. Everything runs great and the blu ray playback is great.

This Xbox has great graphics, and a wonderful upgrade to my Xbox One. I appreciate the new features and the speed at which it operates in comparison to my old Xbox One. I definitely prefer it to the PS5. Having the option for 1TB as a base model is pretty great compared to the older models as well which started at a lower storage capacity.

    Xbox Series X Review

This is my first Xbox since the original. Since then I've been primarily in the PlayStation ecosystem. With this being a new generation of course you're going to see improvements but I just have to say WOW! JUST a few things that stand out about the Xbox Series X is; -Load times: You've heard the hype, it's legit. Games you're used to working a part-time job during load screens (Ahem Witcher/GTA/AC) -Speed; All the way around this is just zippy. From menu navigation to jumping around through multiple apps, everything just flies. -Game performance; My TV is only 60hz so I can't speak on 120fps however everything I've booted up on this thing has worked flawlessly. You really can see the difference in smoothness and you get the added bonus of lower latency. -Sound - So my PS4 Pro literally sounded like a jet whenever I'd boot up my fav AAA game, it was so loud. The X however is so quiet even under stress that you'll have to put your ear right next to it to even hear the fans are on and aside from a steady stream of warm (not hot) air it stays cool as can be. Why doesn't my laptop run this quiet and cool??? :) There are plenty of other reasons why I love this console but I won't bore you with a novel of a review. My recommendation though, if you've been looking at an Xbox X and you have the opportunity to get it, do so, you will not be disappointed.

Big Upgrade Over the Last Generation *****

The console itself is a nice design. Everything works great. Much faster than the previous generation Xbox consoles. The actual box the console comes in isn't very good and the presentation is a little cheap. But the console itself is solid. Highly recommend.

The console is great for high-performance gaming on the Xbox. It can run FH5 2k25 all on high graphics and never had an issure on the overheating and everything. Very, very good device for gaming

Worth every penny. Hard to find, but do not give up. Watch the Best Buy blog for a heads up on restock. Graphics are amazing, even on a 1080p TV. Games load very fast, I compared a last Gen game using my Xbox one x and it wasn't close. The standard controller that is included has some nice refinements to it. Make sure you have it in a well ventilated space as it does get hot.

Amazing system!!! The multigame quick resume is so much more impactful than I ever imagined it would be. The load times are lightning fast compared to PC and the older consoles. The games look and play great. If you dont have GamePass I would highly recommend getting it, best bank for your buck by far!!!

First off, i dislike how the prices have increased throughout the year. Especially since after I bought it, the sales finally hit. However, the product was worth the wait (waiting for 5 years). From switching over from old gen (xbox one s), it is a level up. The load times decreased, smoother gameplay, and the ability to play new gen rated games.

While there has been a lack of next gen titles, the performance and overall quality of the product is more than I could have hoped for. The games look fantastic, especially the titles that are optimized for series X. Adding game pass ultimate to this bundle gives access to hundreds of games including EA play titles. Definitely worth the purchase. Now we need more new games.

Not at all a fan of digital gaming and you all better wake up quick. It’s going to be terrible. Remember the days of just putting the disc in the disc drive and playing it without all the annoying hassle. You can’t avoid it today. Five stars only because of the graphics and quick resume. Otherwise 0-5. It’s like you rent games these days with no real rights. Xbox over PlayStation because the controller is more standardized and comfortable.

Best console that Microsoft has ever built

This is by far hands down the best console that Microsoft has thus far produced. It is very quiet and I have had zero problems with it since I have had it. I was fortunate enough to get one on the November 10th release date. If it wasn't for Best buy doing a second wave of pre-orders on September 22nd, I may not have been able to get one and they were the only retailer at the time that we're doing multiple pre-order waves on September 22nd while everyone else just did one wave of pre-orders. The backwards compatibility feature is very nice with the built-in auto HDR, wich makes the previous generation games feel like something brand new and the frame rate boost to those games is nice as well. The quick resume feature is a game changer, where you can quickly switch between multiple games back and forth in quick sucession without having to sit and wait at a loading screen for an exorbitant amount of time. It is a well-built compact machine that does not take up a lot of space and paired with the right TV that supports the series X you will get to enjoy some very beautiful graphics. The best console that Microsoft has built so far and I thought the 1X was the best one they built but they have now trumped the 1x.

Powerful Gaming, But Software Could Use Some Polis

The Xbox Series X is a powerhouse when it comes to gaming, delivering impressive performance with its 4K capabilities and smooth frame rates. Whether you’re diving into the latest AAA titles or revisiting older favorites, the Series X handles them all with ease, thanks to features like Quick Resume and super-fast load times. The backward compatibility is also a huge plus, allowing you to enjoy a vast library of games from previous Xbox generations with enhanced performance. However, the software side feels a bit incomplete. The user interface, while improved, can still be somewhat clunky, and some features feel underutilized. But where the Xbox Series X truly shines is with Xbox Game Pass. This service is a game-changer, offering access to a massive library of games that makes the Series X an excellent value for gamers looking for variety and convenience. Overall, if you’re looking for a console that delivers excellent gaming performance and access to a fantastic game subscription service, the Xbox Series X is a great choice, even if the software experience isn’t quite as polished as the hardware.
