I have always had a soft spot for Xbox, recently been playing a lot on PS5. I got this solely to play Starfield and its been a blast. Does well with long play days, load screens go quick and smooth, barely any lag. My biggest gripe with xbox is the controller battery situation. They are not rechargeable and you will have to buy a third party battery pack to make them so. However, the design is great for people who have smaller hands and/or wrist issues.

Powerful system, well designed and absolutely silent. If there weren’t an indicator light I would have no idea it’s on. I can’t even hear the fan. The OS is the same that everyone is used to from X1 and X1X, so you’ll feel right at home.

compared to the previous Xbox One this runs really quiet. its loads games fast and the graphics are amazing. for the best experience run on a tv that can do 120hz like the LG CX OLED.

I own The Xbox one X and did not expect much of a difference especially early on. But the series X surprised me and there is still a long way to go as far as game development. Very exciting! The series X offers Dolby Vision as well as HDR10, VRR, Freesync and Dolby Atmos, among other features. I am very satisfied with it.

Paired with gamepass this system is amazing. Preforms very well, loads quick, fair amount of storage. Only downside i believe is xbox still doesnt come with rechargeable controllers from factory.

Series X is absolutely everything I had hoped for and every positive review I've read prior to purchasing my own has been pretty spot on. It's super fast compared to my Xbox 1 S I used before this and does look much better graphically as well. The biggest thing I noticed right away was simply the huge gap in speed though. As I play more Series optimized games now that the loads and lag isn't as bad, bad at all really, I look forward to seeing more of what it's capable of. Also fyi, became a best buy customer based off the fact they aren't jacking the price of it up like literally everyone else is at a time when they're still difficult to get and definitely could abuse. Best Buy, FTW!

Microsoft has done an excellent job with this new Xbox series x. The pros are obviously visual new graphics and the loading speeds. Yhe console is backwards compatible for xbox one and 360 games unlike PS5. The cons are that the console gets very hot on top and they removed the one guide and convenience of being able to power on ans off all your devices with the touch of the X power button, such as TV, surround sound/ sound bar, cable/ satellite box. The games take up alot of space, I've already purchased the Seagate 1 TB card.

Great console from xbox! Quick resume is killer! Its a tab big and a tad hot but thats what you get when you stuff that much power in there.

BestBuy actually had the best system for avoiding scalpers of all the other retailers in my opinion. Lots of sitting on the website and waiting, but it paid off for me. Been enjoying my Series X for nearly a month and have to say its awesome. The biggest thing I have noticed since moving from my original Xbox One Console to this is the noise. This console is dead silent. I have not heard the vans kick in once, regardless of what you're doing on the console. I tested it by launching Red Dead Redemption 2 and closing it, then re-launching it, then closing it, then opening Cold War and then closing it to give it a real stress test. It was able to handle it no problem and didn't make a peep. This machine is a real beast, if you can get your hands on one...do it! Only complaint is lack of exclusives, but hope that changes

Less of a “next gen” feel, more of an improvement in quality of life. Load times are crazy fast and graphics are more refined and fluid. Quick resume is my favorite feature at the moment. Get the most from the new hardware with Game Pass!

I got very lucky in being able to preorder this back in october and I am so very satisfied with it. It is by far the happiest I've been with a gaming console purchase in my life. The load times/quick start functionality is just amazing. The only problem with that is waiting for your friends who have previous generation xboxes to load up their game! I also love the design/profile of the system. This is a console that will look at home in any home - whereas the same cannot be said about the gaudy PS5. You already know this, but if you can get your hands on one of these as MSRP, do it without even thinking about it. I hope that in the coming years Microsoft releases a VR headset that leverages the power of this system, or works out some kind of deal with Facebook/Oculus. It needs to happen!

Awesome console! Graphics and speed are amazing!! Worth every penny!

Coming from an Xbox One X everything about this new system feels more like refinement rather than an evolutionary overhaul. Both the old system and this new system share the same UI. The design language is very similar, especially the controller. Added grip and a "Share" button are about the only things different with the controller. That said I'm very happy with the product. Quick Resume is a game changer and I'm using it much more than I thought I would when I heard the pre-release press announcements. Games still look great and I'm sure this console has more power than my TV knows how to handle. I'll probably upgrade my TV sometime within this console generation to take full advantage. If you game a lot it is definitely worth an upgrade. If you're more of a casual gamer it's probably smarter to wait.

From a former Sony guy, this is the best console ever. Period. The features, the speed, the graphics quality, the UI, game pass, quick resume, it’s all there. It’s literally perfect. Goodbye Sony, it’s almost like I never even knew you.

Thoroughly enjoying my mini fridge xbox. The quick resume is so nice. Jump right back into my games is great. Wish it had more space but at least its expandable. Games look great on my 4k tv. Totally worth with gamepass

Pros of the x is: Multiple external hard drives supported for use at same time, why is this important? I like having my games DL and ready to play so even with fast internet with erasing and downloading games again takes time, expecially with game pass I like to DL random games I would have never actually paid for just to try them out so having multiple external drives are great for this... I can keep my series x and games I want to have with super fast speeds on my internal or storage card... And games I don't play too much I can place on my older mechanical external hard drive... Cons: there is no exclusive games for series x/s right now... So at this point it's basically a more faster and powerful xbox one x... And the controllers had very minor changes and still use as batteries which is annoying.

I have always been a Playstation guy, but I loved the game Halo. I remember playing the game when it first came out, except I always had to go to a friend's house to play it. Now that I can play the real thing, I have to say I love using my Xbox. The user interface is pretty simple to understand, and the setup was rapid, probably 10-15 minutes before I could do something with the machine. I did buy one Halo game with the Xbox. I would say the one frustrating thing was how long it took to install and update the game before I could play it. If you're buying this for someone as a gift and plan on including a game with it, I recommend unboxing it, setting it up for them, and downloading all the updates so they can use it when they receive it. However, I imagine this is the case on any game system, so I don't think it is unique to Xbox. The other tiny grievance is that you run out quickly, even with 1TB of space, so do yourself a favor and buy an expansion drive. I hope they decide to make more storage capacity options in the future. Overall, after getting acclimated to the controller and suppressing my PlayStation mind, I love this and would recommend it to anyone. I do not regret not buying a PlayStation. When I was shopping for a gaming system, I was ready to purchase a PlayStation without even thinking about it because I've been part of that ecosystem since the beginning. However, the difference in price between the two consoles is what did it for me. I'm sure we could debate the nuances of each console and why one is better than the other, but if you bottom line it - if you buy the Xbox, you're getting the same great experience (if not better) for a lot less money.

With this Xbox, you can play games at very high graphics and can play games at up to 150fps! The speed is very high and the lag is minimal making the gaming experience amazing.
