The XBOX Series X was everything I was hoping it would be! This was a massive upgrade over my original launch XBOX One. I can finally experience 4k gaming which looks incredible and the system never skips a heart beat with butter smooth consistent frame rates. Launch titles may be limited as of now, but that doesn't mean you don't have anything to play. With hundreds of games to choose from with its backwards compatibility from all generation, you have no shortage of games especially if you have a Game Pass subscription (which I highly recommend). Nonetheless, there are still a handful of launch games that can utilize the power of the Series X including COD Cold War and AC Valhalla, while also optimizing previous gen. games such as Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5. I can't wait to see future exclusives such as the next installment of Forza and Halo and how they utilize the power of this console. Overall, I love everything about the Series X. From the minimalistic matte black design, the familiar controller, and the blazing speed.

Love the new Xbox and the people at Best Buy are great with customers

The Xbox Series X is a absolute BEAST of a console. I own both the Series X & PS5 digital console. I use the Series X just about everyday as my PS5 sits there collecting dust waiting for Playstation's next exclusive games to come out. Also, Gamepass is absolutely the best gaming deal in the industry, especially for new consumers who dont own any games. I own alot of Xbox digital & disk games. However now I rarely buy games anymore bc I've come to learn they'll almost likely end up in GP at some point. The Series X has a bunch of cool features including quick resume, Xbox Velocity Architecture which comprises four major components: a custom NVME SSD, hardware accelerated decompression, a brand new DirectStorage API layer and Sampler Feedback Streaming (SFS). The box also leverages AMD freesync & VRR on new tvs that support it something Sony's console still doesnt have. Also Xbox doesnt charge you twice for the same game like Playstation does. The Series X is worth every penny and is built for the future of gaming

Great console. I love the disc drive still. I wish more storage was included and the expansion cards werent so expensive. Everything works great though and the console runs great a year later

The Xbox Series X is an excellent piece of hardware. The SSD storage makes for really quick low times. The Quick Resume functionality was something that I thought I'm not really that interested in I don't need it, but after using it for a couple weeks now it makes the overall gaming experience much more pleasant. The excellent backwards compatibility that's been implemented in the Series X is really quite astounding. You get support all the way back from the Xbox One to the original Xbox game console. Pretty much every backwards compatible title has enhancements in low times, resolution, frame rate, and some have added HDR support. If you're just joining the Xbox family for the first time from PlayStation or Nintendo, a must have is Game Pass. You get access to hundreds of games from Microsoft's back catalog and even some new releases, along with the majority of Microsoft first party titles. It's an excellent value. Now for the not so good parts. The overall OS/UI it's just pretty much a copy and paste of the Xbox one OS. I've never been a huge fan of it but it gives the job done. I've always preferred the Sony OS because to me it felt much more simple and easier to use. The Xbox Series X controller is a solid controller. It's an improvement from the Xbox one controller, I like the texture grip, and the d-pad is improved which for me is a big plus because I like to play a lot of 2D action games and I don't like using analog stick for that. But Sony has really knocked it out of the park with the Dualsense controller which makes Microsoft controller seem a little less exciting. The biggest negative of all with the Xbox series X, it's just the lack of first party games. But I'm buying into this ecosystem this time around because with all the recent studio acquisitions Microsoft has made it looks like the first party lineup should be much better this generation. The reason that I give this five stars despite the negatives that I've mentioned, is because this is a hardware review not a software review. I bought this console for my nephew and he still cant stop thanking me. Lol

I've had a PS5 for almost one full year, and while Spider-Man 2 was amazing... I didn't feel completely satisfied with the system. The Xbox GamePass system is the biggest factor why I chose to go to the Series X, First Party Games available Day One, plus a ton of titles, the best multiplayer service and so many events and discounts and other promotions too. The system itself doesn't dominate my tv counter, it's almost dead quiet whereas the pS5 had some noise (but still nothing like the jumbo jet PS4 Pro ). I didn't;t get the same sense of belonging to a gaming community on the pS5 at all, and the company doesn't help by raising prices on games and services without a scent of human touch . Having to literally perform surgery to expand the the internal memory on the pS5 is a pain, while on the Seies X you just plug in a Seagate or WD memory cad. To me, the Xbox Series X is the best video game console I've ever had, and I won't be going back to Playstation ever again.

the KING of Next-Gen consoles. Was FINALLY able to get one through the All-Access package. Best bang for your buck. $35 a month for the console, 24mos game pass, & 24mos Live Gold. Microsoft outdid themselves with this package and made it easier and more affordable upfront for customers to get their hands on this system. It’s no different than when you do installments on your phone & pay for your service monthly. This was genius and discourages scalpers.

North tenth McAllen Best Buy had wonderful customer service. From the moment my husband and I stepped in we were greeting with a warm hello and how my I help you today. The gentlemen helped my husband out in the direction of where to get a replacement for my son’s oculus. Then he told me where I could go find the Xbox system and accessories. The young man in the back helped me with my selection of an Xbox. Told me the difference between the game systems and what gadgets are included. He helped me out to the best of his knowledge because I myself am not a GAMER. I am horrible with names but if I could remeber his name would give him a shout out in this review. My husband was able to order another oculus without any trouble. As we proceeded to check out with the xbox the associate cashing us out asked us about applying for a Best Buy card which, we were approved! Thank you Best Buy family. Happy holidays.

As an Xbox fan who's owned Xbox systems from the early days, the series X is a must own. What an excellent gaming system, you won't be disappointed. I'd definitely recommend getting the 2TB expansion card, as the 1 TB storage could fills up quickly for downloading and storing games.

This is a very nice console, if you got a 4k TV get this one instead of the series S.

This marks my second purchase of the Xbox Series X, unfortunately. The HDMI slot on both consoles has proven to be excessively loose, making it prone to accidental disconnection with the slightest tug on the HDMI cord. The trouble began when I tripped over the cord while attempting to relocate my original Xbox Series X, resulting in issues. Considering the option of repairing the loose HDMI slot, the estimated cost stood at $250. The uncertainty surrounding the quality of the repair job made this prospect less than appealing. Numerous horror stories circulated about third-party repairs, instilling a sense of caution. Fortunately, as of my current typing, the Xbox is available on sale for $399. For just $150 more than the repair cost, I opted to secure a new system. This decision not only spared me potential headaches with repairs but also granted me a brand-new console at a reasonable price amidst the ongoing sale.

This was a present for my son. He definitely loved it. Easy to order, fast shipping and I have no complaints.

This console is fire. Amazing performance, fast load times, beautiful graphics. I held out on moving up to Series X, thanks to some Xbox One crossover with new games for awhile, but next gen games need next gen consoles to play. I still love my Xbox One S, still the Series X is faster, smoother, and more vibrant. I will always buy an Xbox.

This xbox is so far the best ever . It loads so much quicker and the games have so much more detail .
