I haven’t owned an Xbox since the 360. This unit is outstanding. I love not having to actually buy the games physically and with the Xbox game pass that was included…forget about it! Awesome!

The Xbox Series X is an exceptional gaming console. The performance is outstanding, with lightning-fast load times and stunning 4K visuals. The backward compatibility feature is a huge plus, allowing me to enjoy my favorite older games with enhanced graphics. The sleek design and quiet operation make it a great addition to my entertainment setup. Highly recommend it to any serious gamer!

Big box console! Not an attractive console and it looks weird on my shelves both vertical and horizontal. I didn't really need it as a play mostly on PC and Microsoft releases most games on PC now. That said, it has enhancements over the Xbox One X such as ray tracing and higher fps. Since I already have years of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, this isn't a bad thing to have. The controller isn't much different, and the interface is the same. Overall, good for people with nice 4K TVs that want the latest tech features. Otherwise for now, stick with the Xbox One X if you have one. For original One and S owners, upgrade at your discretion.

Stayed up until 7 a.m., got blocked from purchasing because I didn't have 2 factor authentication enabled and panicked. Finally saw the add to cart option, added it and the system removed it... further panicked. About 5 minutes later I finally get past the add to cart screen and buy it. Ready for pickup text sent 6 days early, haul butt to the store, sit outside for ~30 minutes, it's in my truck and I can't possibly get home fast enough. Taking it out of the box felt like when I first opened my 360, and my One. Plugged it in and my God the speed at which the updates installed... the games on disc installed in MINUTES. The downside is Xbox servers are SLOWWWW. The new Call of Duty took HOURS! 32 MBPS!!! So far I've only had one hard crash and that's to be expected during the launch phase.

I've been an Xbox fan and user since the original and have gotten tons of enjoyment out of each new unit, even the much maligned original Xbox One. Even as a big fan of all of the previous models, this one feels a bit more well put together through and through. The hardware is solid and attractive and the features like quick resume and FPS Boost make everything I play am improved experience. With Gamepass I end up spending less on gaming while getting to try/play a larger variety of games. My single minor complaint would be related to the cost of additional next gen storage as the storage expansion cards are overpriced. I was able to pick up 1 TB of additional storage for the Playstation 5 for about $140 bucks where the same would cost me $22o for the Xbox. Minor thing for me and I've got a decent work around. Overall the Series X is an amazing gaming machine.

The Xbox Series X is a gaming powerhouse, with top-notch performance and a sleek design. It’s a joy to play games in 4K with lightning-fast load times. The controller feels great with improved grips and a handy share button. Plus, the game library is huge, thanks to Xbox Game Pass, which includes fantastic exclusives like “Halo Infinite” and “Forza Horizon 5.” Backward compatibility is a bonus, and the user interface is easy to navigate. In a nutshell, the Xbox Series X is a must-have for gamers, taking your gaming experience to a whole new level.

Pros: Powerful Hardware: The Xbox Series X is a beast when it comes to hardware. The graphics are stunning, and the load times are incredibly fast. Games run smoothly, and I've never experienced any lag. Game Pass Ultimate: This service is a game-changer! With Game Pass Ultimate, I have access to a massive library of games, including many new releases. It's a fantastic value for money, and I can't imagine gaming without it. Backward Compatibility: I love that I can play my older Xbox One games on the Series X without any issues. It's a seamless transition, and I appreciate not having to rebuild my game library from scratch. Controller Design: The Xbox Series X controller feels great in my hands. The textured grips and improved D-pad make gaming more comfortable and precise. Cons: User Interface: While it's functional, the Xbox dashboard could use some improvement. It can be a bit cluttered and confusing to navigate at times. I hope future updates will address this. Game Library: Although Game Pass is fantastic, the exclusive game lineup could be stronger. While it has improved over time, I'd love to see more must-play titles that are exclusive to Xbox. Controller Battery Life: The controller's battery life is decent, but it could be better. I find myself changing batteries or recharging it more often than I'd like.

The best value for gaming right now without a question. Pair this with gamepass (which can be had for free by doing microsoft points) and a native 120hz tv (my lg cx is AWESOME) and you got yourself a real winner. There are hundreds of games at my fingertips at all times. The setup and bringing your account over from previous console couldnt be easier. I love microsofts outlook right now and how apparent it is that they do not care WHERE you play your games. PC, cloud, any console etc. It is all coming together very effectively and in the gamers favor. All im waiting on the the xbox device like a chromecast and ill be set. Games with FPS boost is adds so much to your existing library and even toughh the dash is the same, its welcome. Finally realizing generation to generation doesnt need to be a hard cut off is great. Ive been bringing my pc game library with me to any new device, its about time consoles followed suit.

This console is such a leap ahead of my current Xbox one s….no comparison. Loading times, speed of switching through in game menus, 60fps. I’ll never play my one s again more than likely. Runs destiny 2 as easily as if it were a small mobile game. Absolutely flawless. I have always loved the Xbox platform. I like the tweaks they made to the new series x controller but can’t believe they haven’t made the jump to rechargeable like the PS4 and PS5. I really wish the controller was rechargeable but it’s not a deal breaker. Picked up a set of rechargeable batteries on Amazon which fixed the issue of burning through AAs. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the upgrade even without a ton of series x exclusives it definitely is. The series x upgrades for older Xbox games make a huge difference. I don’t think the bundles that some other retailers are worth it which was why I loved the fact that Best Buy offered console only.

Its taken since last year to finally purchase the Xbox Series X, but persistence paid off. Replaced my Xbox One X. The series X looks great and is very quiet. Does blow out heat from the vent, but never overheats. The start up and loading speeds are significantly faster, and the Quick Resume feature is pretty amazing. Jumping from game to game is quick and easy, starting you off where you left off. Of course the quick resume works best if you use digital games so you don't have to physically change out discs, and it allows going from game to game when playing remotely on other devices. I have found it enhances the graphical appearance performance of existing games, with improved frame rate performa nice as well. The controller isn't much different but is familiar and works well. I'm sure many will like the dedicated Share button. The added grip texture is also a plus. Hard to find but worth the wait!

A very nice upgrade from my old XBOX ONE X.......it is ridiculously fast and upgrading took minutes. All your old accessories work even the rechargeable battery packs for the controllers. Moving your old games over from your console was simple as plug and play of your external HDD. Whisper quiet and does not emit much heat or almost any sound. Nice design that while it does not glaringly stick out on top next to my TV. Everything just runs faster and older games look fantastic and run smoothly. New games are gorgeous that I've tested on my 4K HDTV. Only issue in beginning was that the Series X does not support streaming to Windows 10 PCs like the old Xbox One models (but this if easily fixable by installing the Windows 10 Beta Streaming app and it works great). Console streaming to my android phones/tablets works flawlessly outside of the house too. Xbox Game Pass + EA Play is killing it and you don't have to spend $70 on games as they are all available to you immediately.

This console is the third xbox console I have ever owned. I went from the 360 to the very first xbox one and now I have made it to the series x. The disc drive can be a bit funny sometimes, you may have to turn the console the opposite way of which you have it (vertical to horizontal and vice versa). Overall pretty great console, especially having come from the first xbox one. Visuals are stunning, fps is great, as long as your tv can manage 120 fps, then that is what you will get, otherwise you're looking at 60 fps. ~READ NEXT PART IF YOU CARE ABOUT GAME CAPTURE AUDIO~ The audio for game captures doesn't work if you do the two minute option, but the 45 second option will record audio. I have yet to try the one minute option. I have not found a fix for the two minute option yet

Fantastic console! I had an Xbox One S for years, but over time with online gaming it just wasn’t cutting it anymore with frame rate dips during online play. So, I knew I needed an upgrade. This console has been a great upgrade. Fast speeds, I can play all my old games from previous generations and easy setup to transfer over all my account data. My only downside is although 1tb is a lot of space in comparison to older consoles which typically only had 500gb, games are increasing in size and a terabyte just isn’t enough anymore. However overall I’ve loved this console and games.

I have owned every single PlayStation since the original, so this is my first real foray into the Xbox world. I couldn’t decide between the Xbox and PS5, so I wound up getting both. The Xbox controller has always been my least favorite part about it, but it feels like they’ve trimmed it down so it feels better in my hands. I also like the overall look of the console. Some say it’s too basic. I like the look. I have yet to play any discs on it, but I’ve taken advantage of the insane number of awesome games in the Game Pass Ultimate library. If you can’t decide on which console to get, do some research on Game Pass. If you want even just a handful of the games in the collection, its a no brainer. And don’t forget Halo Inifinite is scheduled for release later in 2021.
