An amazing gaming system, well worth the money if you are an xbox fan. Expensive but worth it, especially for the new gen games.

This is a great system. Backwards compatibility is through the roof with previous generation Xbox CD based games, plus you can setup developer mode and turn it into an emulation beast for a lot of other systems from the past. Beyond that you can get game pass and play a ton of current games (think Netflix, but for gaming). This might be the last console from Microsoft with a CD drive built in as well so may want to consider picking this up before the next gen happens.

I had been waiting for the Series X to drop price for a while and finally it did so I bought me one. Best Buy was really quick and convenient to buy from. After having a series X for about 7 months now I can say it really is a premium experience. Quick resume play, fast loading and download times, and the storage is really convenient.

Microsoft best Xbox in value and performance. All my backwards compatible games worked out of the box. The system boots fast, and it's probably the quietest console I've heard. You have to try to hear the system when it's running. In terms of heat it runs cool, the air exhausted feels a cool warm if that makes sense. Nothing that would make your hand feel uncomfortable by any stretch of the imagination. In terms of games they play better on the XSX compared to my XB1X and the fast loading is much appreciated. Is the overall fidelity a big leap? No, I think this generation is all about performance. Now I can't drop 4K for 1440P higher FPS. I like crispness over FPS like 120 or 60. High detail constant 30FPS with good motion blur is better than 60 FPS with reduce detail in my opinion. With gift card I got it for $427 after tax so I applied the extra money towards game pass (2 in a half years) along with expandable storage I applied another gift to knock off about $100.

I was lucky enough to score my console on very first preorder round. BB app really made things easier even though I almost gave up after few hours online. On release day I picked it up at 5 in the morning and BB curbside pickup team did great job. Now for the console I can not be more happier with it. I skipped one generation since my old 360 and tech really came a long way. I play on 120" projection screen and this is truly amazing. Any game you play loading times are almost non existent. Unfortunately not many new games released for it yet but there are plenty of classics you can play meanwhile. I also subscribed to Game Pass to take full advantage of this gen consoles. Just cant get enough of free time to play everything now.

I’ve been a Sony/Nintendo person my whole life, but with Starfield, Indiana Jones coming out and some other Xbox exclusives I just had to dip into the Xbox field and so far I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the games the ease of cross play on PC as well!

These are almost impossible to get. If you are lucky enough to be able to get one you got lucky. I have owned every single Xbox since the original was released. This is by far the biggest jump in quality I have ever seen. 120 Hz frame rate is a game changer. Quite literally. Just remember you need a TV that is capable of showing this type of a signal. HDMI 2.1, HD CP 2.3. I immensely recommend one of LG‘s OLED TVs to be used as a monitor. They are flawless and show you what this Xbox can really do. You also need an HDMI cable capable of handling the band with, 48 GB per second. I wholeheartedly recommend audio quest HDMI. You can get one anywhere from $50-$4000. Depending on the quality level of your system. Best bang for the buck is probably going to be either the cinnamon cable or the carbon cable, unless of course you have a reference level system you are integrating this into. Great And Smooth Console Nothing Wrong With Itself

Simply amazing. I got my series X by luckily beating the scalpers on launch day. I waited a year to write this review to address any launch console issues that have happened over the last year. I also bought the ps5 digital so i can speak from a perspective of owning both consoles. The series X hands down dominates my living room. I use it for the bulk of my gaming sessions and spend hours on this daily. My ps5 is okay, no issues with it but it is less comsumer friendly in my experience. I also have a child and xbox game pass is stocked with games both my kid and i are interested in. Console still runs quiet after 1 year. No issues have popped up at all. It runs like a charm. I was weary of xbox after the 2013-2015, era. But it is a power house now. If you love games and love gaming you wont regret owning one of these.

Absolute beast of a machine. A bug here or there is not uncommon, but not any worse than my XBONE or my PC. Quick Resume feature is one of the coolest things I've ever seen in gaming. If you've played Read Dead 2 on the xbone, then you know how long the load times can be. With the Series X, it plops you back in game EXACTLY where you left off. It's bonkers how quick it loads. Sharing clips and screenshots is super easy. Integrates well with the companion app. I have it for IOS, so no clue if it works that well on android. Visually, the graphics are top notch. Gamepass Ultimate which has basically replaced the old Xbox Live service is amazing. So many games for free. Biggest complaint though BY FAR is the size of the SSD. It's 1TB, but with the 200gb or so taken up by the operating system, and the massive size of some of the games (looking at you Black OPs Cold War- 150gb+) it does tend to fill up quickly.

I had been out of the Xbox game for like 12 years. I had been putting off getting the new Xbox for a while until I decided to just bite the bullet so far I love the Xbox series X I don’t know why so many people got the S it’s been right out a month so far so good, even though you could access pretty much any game through game pass on PC. The main reason why I got it was because of how good game pass ultimate would be in my situation. All of these games seem fresh.

It’s an Xbox X. Next Gen is here and man Bestbuy Killed it with the price this year. Im glad I waited Got because I have game pass on my computer. Love that I can now play game pass games on my new Xbox and computer. Plus the new controller is awesome. 1TB is great and will work for most people. I’d get the extra storage though if you want to have a library and are an active gamer and only have this Xbox. Performance has been awesome so far and glad to finally have a next Gen console.

Broke my original console so I bought a replacement since second hand repair shops are nonexistent apparently. Everything was included and it was in great condition same day. Nothing to complain about.

I upgraded to the Series X from the original version of the Xbox One, which I frankly didn’t use very much, and the difference is really staggering. My main reason for upgrading was the size difference. The Xbox One is giant like a VCR, only sits horizontal, and has the biggest power brick I have ever seen. The Series X sits vertically and has no power brick at all, making it infinitely better in terms of special efficiency. I didn’t really buy the system because I needed a speed/graphics improvement, but I was still blown away by the speed at which this thing loads the same games that took a minute on the Xbox One. For the better size and what seems like an astronomical speed difference, I would say that the Series X is a fantastic upgrade for anyone who wants to play their old games on a better system, but also be future proof in case something new comes out that interests you.

It’s okay, looks nice and has good performance and all. But the amount of games are lacking tbh. I also hate the controller. The buttons feel very cheap, esp the ab/xy ones compared to a PS5 controller. And it having a rechargeable battery is a huge bummer. Using AA batteries in a controller for a $500 console seems cheap. Love the console design though. It s fan of the UI, however. Not enough Xbox exclusives to really make it worth my time, personally. Bought in May 2024 and used it only in December when Indiana jones came out.

I was fortunate enough to land the X early from Best Buy. The look new exterior look is awesome it’s not bulky or colorful it’s sleek and looks in any entertainment center. I always been a Xbox fan and this console will keep me as a customer for more years to come until the next one comes out. The expansion memory slot is simple it’s plug and play compared to its competitor where you have to take some pieces apart. The one thing I would change is making the unit 2TB out of the box and the S unit 1TB standard. The graphics and the speed of play is significantly more clear, detailed, and faster. The explosions are more real than real life! I bought a LG OLED to bring out the graphics even more and boy it didn’t disappoint its unreal! But either a LED or a OLED tv the difference from the Xbox one is huge. If you are second guessing it I’m here to say make the move to the next gen console it’s a game changer!

If your only question is, "Is this console really THAT MUCH BETTER than the Series X?" The answer is a resounding YES. $500 well spent. Noticed immediate difference in Warzone from overall quality of graphics to the smoothness of coming into games from cold launch and just overall graphics response. Duh but it also helped my game. I had this on a 4K 60hz with HDR to start. Switched to a 27"Monitor at 1080p @ 120hz. If your concerned about playing at 1080p, forget it your eyes can't tell the difference and gaming just is better at 120. It's worth it until the monitor market catches up. Did have the annoying controller/battery issue where the controller would disconnect and not reconnect if the controller batteries died while playing. Requires a HARD RESET everytime. I bought a USB C cable to go corded until it's fixed, no problems since. Good luck finding one. Took me a whole day refreshing BBY but all worth it!!

I bought this for my son last year for Christmas. He loved it but unfortunately over a month ago he sold it. I was so upset and he miss having it. He sold her to get money instead of getting a job. I told him better than that. maybe he’s so depressed
