You can use the app to set it up while it downloads the day one update. Haven’t played any enhanced games yet but have transferred a few to the internal SSD from my eternal HDD and that went relatively quick. Controller feels very nice too. I don’t have a 120hz TV so I can’t comment on that but I do have a 4K 60hz and will be trying enhanced games later on to see how it really performs. Overall happy with the purchase and can’t wait for more games to come out.

We gave up on buying the Xbox X since the pandemic. Decided to get one recently as a reward for our son’s excellent school performance and we are not disappointed. What a night and day difference between this and the Xbox one S. Great video and graphic details. Super fast performance in everything we throw at it. Wish we were able to grab one sooner. Now we wait for the next better and greater new model. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy the Xbox X.

I’ve always had an Xbox and honestly this is the best one I’ve owned. I upgraded from a series S and the difference is profound in resolution textures and refresh rate. Form factor took some getting used to but it’s just different not wildly oversized like a ps5.

going to grab the white digital series X. series X is amazing. more mouse and keyboards work for series X than PS5. such as the red dragon k701 actuation keyboard which does not work on PS5. pair this with a Fast IPS Pixio 280hz monitor and you will see a difference trust

Have used the system for 3 months so far and it is slowly becoming my go to for a majority of my games. Load times and switching between menus are lightning fast thanks to its SSD. Features like quick resume which allows me to have multiple games open at once and switch to them at anytime are the kinds of features that are truly next gen to me. Smart delivery is another feature that streamlines the process of making sure I get the best looking version of the game I’m playing without having to double check or accidentally downloading multiple versions of a game. Coming from a One S the difference is stark and is a great solution for those who want high fidelity gaming on their TV without having to spend thousands trying to match the same quality and resolution on PC. Also game pass is a great way to try loads of games without breaking the bank.

Well... I have been playing for one week now. I tried several games like Godfall (i would rate 4/10), Spider-Man Remastered (10/10 so far), Astro Bots (I'm an playstation fan for over 25 year now - so... 10/10!), God of War PS+ collection (10/10 - even it's only 30fps) and many other games I owned before: CoD Warzone, Battlefield 5, Rainbow Six Siege, No Mans Sky, Destiny 2, Madden NFL, GTA online. All in all I'm very impressed by the smoothness of the PS5 UI. Everything works more fluently and faster. It's very easy and fast to create and join parties! And I really love the new controller as it is a bit bigger, fitting perfect in my hands. I really love the adaptive triggers, as they for example simulates the tension of spider-mans webs when web-swinging through new york! That's awesome!

Great console, performance and graphics. Being able to play games from oringal Xbox and beyond is a great reason to pick one up for yourself.

Absolutely love it. Husband bought it for me as a Valentines gift and its amazing. Graphics are great. No issues with it except something that was my fault. Everything is boxed well, though the box itself could be better. We keep the boxes for moving and this box will have to be taped shut compared to previous gen. Also ran out of storage very fast and had to buy a new storage as the one i had wasnt compatible with the X.

I've had an Xbox since early 360 days, it's an excellent addition to the line up. It works great and even more so on a 4k 120hz tv. Blows away any console before it in regards to just how good it looks and plays in the time we are in. I'm disappointed though too, I've had less than great experience with Xbox's support since they got rid of their phone services, their twitter support is awful and I still have not heard back on my first issue I had, my first series X gpu failed on me, causing screen tear literally anywhere even on factory reset screen, the only reason I have one still is thanks to Best Buy. Cannot be thankful enough to them. Back on topic, yes my GPU had issues and support is horrible apparently, so don't expect much help from them IF something happens, I'm sure mine was a unusual situation and I'm confident yours will be fine don't worry : ) All together the console is amazing and games run great, especially on tvs for next gen. (This current Gen now). There have been issues for some so keep that in mind and keep an eye out for issues, check the know issues that they are working on currently in the Xbox website, this will only improve over time. Be careful with Xbox support, they may have a more clent friendly ways but this has been going down hill for a few years and they have not touched base on it. Most importantly have fun and let the good times roll

I was so fortunate to luck out preordered this. I love the Xbox console series. It's a sleek and powerful monolith. From the packaging, which by the way is such a treat to open, to just navigation, I am so impressed with Microsoft on this one. This is an investment system - we're awaiting some of the amazing games that will come over it's lifespan. With the purchase of Bethesda, we have Skyrim and Halo games on the horizon. In the interim, gamepass gives 100s of games! I've already poured over 40 hours into Valhalla and the graphics are incredible. The biggest thing here is the load times - you dont even have time to text people it loads so fast! Love the system - zero regrets on going with Microsoft over Sony, and look, I think if you can get a PS5 or Xbox series X right now, you're lucky! Console wars are dumb, this is a must have system so jump on it if you are fortunate enough to find one.

Local store was out, ordered and had delivery in less than 72 hours. Everything I had hioed it would be.

Great System. I just wish it was a bit smaller but is still smaller than the PS5. Graphics look amazing and the loading times are super fast. The quick resume feature is incredible. If you purchase this one you won’t regret it. Also right ow has a $50.00 discount if you are a BestBuy Plus or BestBuy Total member.

The fact that i had a 7-8 year old console an everytime i would play with my friends i would load so much later and with newer games coming out, you cant play them on the old gen.. now everything is much smoother and faster and i have access to any game (thats with Xbox). Id highly suggest, i wanted a pc but with the funds and space i have, the X is easily comparable and competes with pcs.

Honestly, what do you expect? It's next-gen. The console itself to begin with looks like some type of alien object that's casually placed in your living room. The controller is fantastic, much bigger so it can grip in my hands properly now. I always liked the PS4 controller but now holding this I can see how much less of a controller it is compared to the PS5's. Lastly, you honestly won't get the full next-gen experience​ until HDMI 2.1 4k monitors come out that runs over 120hz. So if money is a little tight I​ would wait till it dies down. Not worth paying over retail for this console. So if you were thinking of buying it from those scalpers don't.

As it stands, this console is certainly powerful and a great leap forward for Xbox. However, with its current library of console exclusive games, there is not point in owning an Xbox Series X. It will likely be some time until Xbox gets a compelling list of games that will justify owning a Series X. If you are buying a games console for the first time, I urge you to consider buying a ps5 for its superior library of exclusive games. On a technical level, the series X has a noticeable edge over the ps5. So if pure performance is what you’re looking for…. get a pc (kidding). The Series X is the most powerful console on the market. However if the price is too steep, I also suggest the Series S. I am extremely excited for the next few years on Xbox to see the new games that will take advantage of such great hardware.

Works great with our 4K TV! I have only had it for a few weeks but my kids (as well as myself!) are enjoying it. I was lucky enough to get one during a Best Buy releases, well worth the wait/frustration. Thanks for another great product Microsoft!

I've been an Xbox gamer since the original Xbox back in 2001. I also play on PlayStation as well. I love games. And if you're looking to enjoy yourself with gaming that has a large catalog of older games that the system can play then I recommend the Xbox Series X and the Game Pass option. When it comes to exclusive titles, I am very anxious for the Xbox exclusive Starfield next year. And then there is the new Fable title coming soon along with some other Xbox-only games in the near future. My point is that there are games coming and don't let anyone say otherwise. Now, I know that you can play Game Pass games on the other Xbox systems but what the Series X offers are speed and large storage. I was amazed at how fast games like Gears of War 4 or the Forza Horizon games loaded up. I honestly like the design of the Series X, it's streamlined and allows you to stand it upright or on its side depending on your gaming space. The controller is still the familiar design that we know from the 2013 Xbox One system but there's a share button added allowing you to quickly create game clips or save a game photo. If you are looking to purchase this system for a friend or a family member then I highly recommend that you know what kind of gamer that person is. Are they a current Xbox fan? Do they like playing the older games that they played on previous systems? I won't get into the weeds about third-party and first-party games since to the uninitiated, it can be confusing. Is this your or their first system? Xbox Series X can play all third-party games such as Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc. The Series X also allows you to access your streaming service apps such as Apple Tv, HBO Max, Netflix, and Disney Plus, to name a few. No matter what you're watching or playing on this system, it's going to look REALLY good. Even older games are enhanced through the Series X system. Depending on your TV, the frame rate for some games is fast. As I mentioned before, if you're worried about Xbox not having exclusives, they are coming and they will make you feel proud about owning the Series X.
