Fantastic power and super quiet cooling. Quick Resume and Smart HDR (adding legit HDR to content that wasn’t created for it) are well worth it, and while the SSD storage is not as fast as the PS5 on paper, it’s still a vast improvement over last gen. Backwards compatibility with everything on the Xbox One is incredibly seamless. It’s lacking in exclusives for now so there is a hard argument to make for someone changing from the PlayStation family, but even just being able to play some of last-gen’s games in a higher frame rate (Sekiro finally feels good to play, as with any other game that shipped with an uncapped frame rate) is a worthwhile upgrade from the Xbox One family for anyone who can afford it... and find it in stock for now. Good luck and be patient for the restocks, and screw the scalpers trying to charge people more than MSRP.

My experience with the Series X has been flawless. The system is swift and the experience has been enjoyable. Two years, no glitches, no overheating, the system is quiet, and my previous Xbox One X, and 360 libraries are easily accessible.

Been using Series S for a while and started running out of memory space. Given the price of internal solid state drive I decided to just upgrade my console to the X. Pros- Runs a little quicker than the S, added bonus of being able to play physical games and movies, better image quality and refresh rate for a 4K OLED(just make sure you have a fast enough HDMI to make use of the 120hz), 1TB storage(twice as much as the S) Cons- runs a little warmer than the S but barely noticeable, takes up a decent amount more space, 1TB storage (would be nice to have more for the price difference) Overall- glad I upgraded

Such a great purchase. I had an Xbox One before this and it still worked great but a buddy of mine persuaded me to purchase one while it was on sale. It was such a steal and the purchasing online was so easy and manageable. ! This Xbox is great and the updated graphics and frames are amazing. All games look great and work noticeably quicker. Great purchase and if you are on the fence, you will not regret it!

I know there aren’t any console selling on release but I switched from a ps4 and never had an Xbox one. Game pass really is the best thing in gaming. So many games I would be hesitant to buy or even play but can try all I want now. Love the fast loading and the slick interface. The series x controller is also fantastic. My personal favorite controller ever is the wave bird for the GameCube and this controller will probably take my new first place. If you’re coming from an Xbox one I’d maybe wait. But if you switching from PlayStation I’d say go for it. Also, try and snag game pass ultimate around the holidays/a sale. They’re normally 45 dollars for 3 months. Around thanksgiving I picked them up for 20 dollars a piece. You also get three months for a dollar when you first sign up. So for 61 dollars I got a year of the best deal in gaming.

No other console allows you to play the entire XBOX library from the very first Halo to latest and greatest. Some experts are even playing PS1 and PS2 games using a modified version of this console. Had this for a year and recently got the PS5 to compare. Overall this is still my go. More so for cost effectiveness, for example if you got Resident evil 8 for your Xbox one and you recently got ahold of one of these then you will automatically get the Series X version for free. Not only free the Xbox will go the extra mile and give you a prompt that there is an upgrade available and installs the update for you. no extra cost, no BS,. For the PS5 for the same RE8 game you will need to go into the store. find the PS5 version then select "Products" then select the PS5 version, Download the PS5 version but note its the PS5 full version meaning you will have both the PS4 and PS5 version on your SSD which you can delete the PS4 with no issue but its an unusual hassle.

The trade in opportunity allowed me to get this without feeling like I spent too much on it, works and looks great! Very pleased with my Xbox and could not be more grateful. I am a college student and my roommates and I love how detailed it looks on our tv, we love our movie nights and the video quality is amazing! I had an xbox series s and I missed being able to play my disc games on it so it was such a breath of fresh air to be able to use them again!!

If you want a new Xbox, this is the one to wait for. I got lucky because I was obsessively following a bunch of those restock accounts on Twitter and was able to snag one when it a recent restock went live. The only complaint I have is that I want it to work more seamlessly with my new Sony TV (X900H). I've had to mess around with the settings on both devices quite a few times to get HDR working properly...but once I had that figured out, the Xbox was fantastic. Before I was having some oddities with what felt like controller lag, but I think all of my settings were improperly configured so the TV and the XBOX weren't talking to one another.

The Xbox Series X is undoubtedly an impressive games console. In fact, I'd go as far to say it's barely a games console in the traditional sense at all. It's a gaming PC, with the exterior to match, but at a fraction of the price. Its problem (if you could call it that) is that it's so overpowered for what it will be used for in the early days. But then, that's why it's well worth the investment. Once games start to realise some of its potential, you can be safe in the knowledge that you have invested in a machine that'll have the grunt to cope – and then some. It is also silent too – hence the big fan grille on the top – and while it may lack that initial wow factor, we believe its moment in the sun is further down the road, when that big engine under the hood gets the run out it deserves. Then it'll be one thrill ride after another.

The Xbox Series X is astounding. It boasts remarkable graphical prowess and industry leading features like quick resume that will set the bar for gaming moving forward. It's also surprisingly small in stature compared to its main competitor, the PS5, and is also much quieter due to thoughtful design for the ventilation. To be quite honest, Xbox lost me with the previous generation, but they have won me over with the Series X. Microsoft has done a stellar job of building a beast of a console that, when paired with Game Pass, creates a match made in heaven for all gamers.

Upgraded from a Series S to a Series X a few months ago. I wish I would have done this sooner. Better performance and enhancements on games I play day to day! Console does not get as toasty as the Series S!

If you are a fan of the original xbox and the 360, but the Xbox One left you with something to be desired, this new Xbox Series X is the Xbox for you. Yes, the launch is a bit light on games, but what is available simply looks amazing in 4k. If you have a TV that can take advantage of the XSX, you really should be looking into getting it. MS has really stepped up their game with Gamepass and backwards compatibility. All your old games are there, with your saves and they just work on this new console from the get go. New games like COD Cold War look amazing in 4k. If you are an Xbox fan, this new console is for you. If you have a nice 4K TV and you are considering Gamepass, this Xbox is for you. This new Xbox is a really good start to the new console generation and it will only get better when the big games start arriving soon.

Never had issues with xbox, and the wife needed the new one, her old one was definitely showing its age. Nothing against Playstation or PC, just had the same accounts on xbox for years so we kept to the same lol.

I purchased the Xbox Series X for my 18 year old step-son as an early Christmas gift. He previously played on Xbox One S (not to be confused with the Series S). He loves the new Xbox X and the outstanding graphics and download times etc. The 1 downside to buying this 4k monster of a gaming system, now I will have to go back to Best Buy and purchase him his own 4k t.v. for his bedroom, so I can have our family room t.v. back.

It has 4k, can do 120h. Would suggest getting a portable hard drive to make up for space.
