The Xbox Series X is astounding. It boasts remarkable graphical prowess and industry leading features like quick resume that will set the bar for gaming moving forward. It's also surprisingly small in stature compared to its main competitor, the PS5, and is also much quieter due to thoughtful design for the ventilation. To be quite honest, Xbox lost me with the previous generation, but they have won me over with the Series X. Microsoft has done a stellar job of building a beast of a console that, when paired with Game Pass, creates a match made in heaven for all gamers.

If you are a fan of the original xbox and the 360, but the Xbox One left you with something to be desired, this new Xbox Series X is the Xbox for you. Yes, the launch is a bit light on games, but what is available simply looks amazing in 4k. If you have a TV that can take advantage of the XSX, you really should be looking into getting it. MS has really stepped up their game with Gamepass and backwards compatibility. All your old games are there, with your saves and they just work on this new console from the get go. New games like COD Cold War look amazing in 4k. If you are an Xbox fan, this new console is for you. If you have a nice 4K TV and you are considering Gamepass, this Xbox is for you. This new Xbox is a really good start to the new console generation and it will only get better when the big games start arriving soon.

Upgraded from a Series S to a Series X a few months ago. I wish I would have done this sooner. Better performance and enhancements on games I play day to day! Console does not get as toasty as the Series S!

Never had issues with xbox, and the wife needed the new one, her old one was definitely showing its age. Nothing against Playstation or PC, just had the same accounts on xbox for years so we kept to the same lol.

I purchased the Xbox Series X for my 18 year old step-son as an early Christmas gift. He previously played on Xbox One S (not to be confused with the Series S). He loves the new Xbox X and the outstanding graphics and download times etc. The 1 downside to buying this 4k monster of a gaming system, now I will have to go back to Best Buy and purchase him his own 4k t.v. for his bedroom, so I can have our family room t.v. back.

After having Playstation the last 3 generations, I decided to try branch out and try both sides this time around to see what I'd been missing out on in Xbox exclusives. Pros: Dead quiet, even with "next gen" games. Backwards compatibility - have enjoyed catching up on some Xbox 360 games in backwards compatibility mode. The ones that are "enhanced" are truly impressive for 10+ year old games. Cons: Controller is comfortable, but not as impressive haptics-wise as PS5's Dualsense. No rechargeable battery included for controller - add $25 for first-party option. So far, I am really enjoying the console, and have even decided to buy some cross-platform games on it instead of PS5 (when either graphics are better, or the extra haptics or trigger feedback are not in play) as it's much quieter.

It has 4k, can do 120h. Would suggest getting a portable hard drive to make up for space.

Greatest Console ever made. How anyone can not be an xbox fan baffles me. Between game pass, backwards compatibility and the overall experience of xbox i think its unmatched. And with the revamped first party line up great games are not hard to find and all drop day and date in games pass. And no more paying $69 for sports games, as they are in game pass as well.

BestBuy actually had the best system for avoiding scalpers of all the other retailers in my opinion. Lots of sitting on the website and waiting, but it paid off for me. Been enjoying my Series X for nearly a month and have to say its awesome. The biggest thing I have noticed since moving from my original Xbox One Console to this is the noise. This console is dead silent. I have not heard the vans kick in once, regardless of what you're doing on the console. I tested it by launching Red Dead Redemption 2 and closing it, then re-launching it, then closing it, then opening Cold War and then closing it to give it a real stress test. It was able to handle it no problem and didn't make a peep. This machine is a real beast, if you can get your hands on one...do it! Only complaint is lack of exclusives, but hope that changes

It has such a great picture on streaming services that I stopped using my TV apps. And some of my older games will work on it but not all and perhaps the ones that don’t work weren’t as popular and didn’t make the cut. I noticed as well the load time is much quicker on both the new games as well as the older games. I highly recommend this one!

I was using the Xbox Series S for the last few years and noticed the resolution and performance was way behind my laptop running an Nvidia 3070ti video card when I compared them both on a qhd screen. So I decided to upgrade to the Series X. And it made a huge difference in resolution and clarity. Very similar to the laptops resolution, but with the convenience of a console. Looks amazing and have had zero issues.

I only bought this so i could run msfs in its full glory. My t.v. doesnt work right with the variable 120hz refresh rate, it starts wigging out and it seems most the new games are coming out in 30hz refresh rates, so its a little disapointing in regards to that, 4k movie discs look really good on it my understanding is the picture is as good as $1k 4k players and i believe it. I get amazing download speeds at 530mb, i wish it would support p.c. perifials like flight controlers other than the turtle beach. I also wish they would incorporate v.r. play station is already on their second generation of v.r. if not for my love of flight i would prob go with a ps 5, but this was cheaper to build a flight simulator with a turtle beach flight controler then building a p.c. rig. The internal hardrive will only hold about 5 full 4k x games i added an external 1tb usb 3.1 drive for all my standard games and then i added the 1tb internal ssd drive = 3tb in order to have a decent amount of games ready to go. The new games are rather large. Biggest complaint is for suposedly being as powtful as a p.c. it doesnt offer much in the way of peripheral support.

I have been a xbox fan since the og xbox. I truly love the way this xbox X operates and it is so much better then the Xbox one i have had for years now.

The Series X as an entertainment system has not disappointed. May have lower specs than PS5 or PC for gaming but it doesn't get bogged down with other issues like PC's can and does offer Game pass and backwards compatability options I don't think PS5 offers. If you want top of the line specs for gaming, it's still pretty good but what really does it are the other features Xbox has (ie gamepass)

My son is absolutely thrilled. He was having issues with Fortnite disconnections in matches on his Switch, even with a dedicated WiFi for his gaming. He has zero lag and I cant tell you as a parent how happy I am.

To start off with I see a lot of post that say this is a scam etc. To clear the air. There are people that can resell through amazon just be weary of who you're purchasing from. I purchased this directly from Microsoft throguh amazon at 599$ CAD. I did also have to purchase a tv for the full experience samsung Q70 hdmi 4 supports 2.1 hdmi and 4k. The Q80 &Q90 do support this also if you were wondering. The xbox does give calibration options for your TV. The walk through at the beginning is really key for the experience. Yes we were short handed because xbox delayed all their new game releases but system functionality wise SO FAR is great. I will Update this once I've played some games just to advise of my full experience.

This console is very powerful and quiet. 4k is amazing and crisp. Get the series X it's worth the extra price!
