This is a fantastic machine. It's extremely fast all the way around. Start up time for loading games compared to the One X is no comparison. It loadsnin seconds instead of minutes. The one bad thing is the Series X doesn't have an optical output. If you have a headset using this, then the headset may either need to be replaced or a firmware update would be required as mine did before it will work with the Series X. The controlers are similar to the One X, but reuires a different battery and back than the older controllers.

Finally paid for an Xbox Series X. So far so good. I have downloaded a a few games and it is running well. Played online and locally. My famylly loves haveing thier own controllers and being able to sign in to a family acount and keep track of their individual progress. Right now the game of the house is Mortal Komat 1. I still love Horizon. I recommend it for individual and family fun.

I Must admit, I really couldnt see how ut could be any better than the Xbox ONE X but once I finally was able to find a Series X for sale (Best Buy being the place I found one) I grabbed it and MAN, Its WORLDS better. The 4k is even better than on the ONE X but the speeds are AMAZING! I can literally turn my Series X on, sign in and load into a game and Im playing before my husband who still is playing on a ONE X has even gotten signed in. Its AMAZING how fast this console is. I LOVE IT! The only downside is that it dows get MUCH hotter than the ONE X so definitely need to leave room for it to breathe.

I've always been a huge Xbox fanboy, so I was really excited for this console when it was announced back in late 2019. Unfortunately, scalpers and overall low supply made purchasing this console difficult. Thankfully, I was able to score one back in June, and I have enjoyed it every since. Coming from someone who also plays games on a high-end gaming PC, the newest Xbox consoles are incredibly competitive. My only gripe is the amount of storage, since modern titles can fill it up quite quickly. I realize you can expand the storage with the Seagate card, but it would have been nice if Microsoft allowed you to use your own NVME drive like the PS5 does.

Series X goes above all expectations And is well built

Huge upgrade from Xbox one, as quick and powerful as high end PC for gaming, packs a punch in a small form factor. As a PC gamer myself, I am impressed with the console. (Don’t tell PCMR). It was also a gift for me since now we don’t have to wait ages for him to load into lobbies =X Side note: I surprised my brother and told him to stop by Best Buy for a drive up order. I had to send the order receipt so he knew what it was before arriving, but it was a super convenient service since I couldn’t get it shipped directly.

I like how the games load so much quicker than my Xbox One system. The picture quality it sharper on my TV, even though it’s not a 4k TV. That’s going to be my next purchase. I’m not a big time gamer, but I have played many games over the years. I haven’t had this system for a long time, but I do recommend it’s worth upgrading to compared to the previous Xbox systems

Honesty I’ve been a PlayStation guy since the beginning. But after Microsoft acquired Bethesda Games Studios and future titles being XBox console exclusives, I decided to invest in the Series X. And I’m glad I did. As for the “3 star” for the controller, it’s good but I don’t like that style. Since I’ve used the PS controller for so long I just an XBox supported PS style controller. All in all, this was a great purchase.

I had some problems with the pre order but i was able to get it on day one and it has been running great since. Load times are amazing and somehow my download speed is better on this xbox, it is updating and faster. the games look excellent in 4k at 120 making everything run much smother and less chunky. the fan really heats the room after gaming for a while so make sure you leave doors open otherwise it can get pretty warm in a room. The controller it came with is a standard one just with a new share button in the middle I always hit on accident and take screen shots. Otherwise I love this especially with game pass and EAplay now. Great deals. Definitely get over a PS5. This should be way more than $500 so this is a steal.

Honestly it’s pretty good and a lot smaller than older models, runs pretty well I’d recommend it for most games.

Excellent console. Super powerful, well built, and looks very professional sitting on a desk or entertainment center. Gaming performance is stellar for the price. Only downside is the built in 4K Blu-Ray player is definitely on the cheaper end of the spectrum. It can sometimes be noisy and isn't compatible with all the popular audio and visual visual formats out there. So if you are looking for a dedicated 4K Blue-Ray player, I would look elsewhere. But if you mostly use it for gaming and occasionally for movies like we do, it's a great bonus feature.

Excellent purchase experience. BJ in the game department at the Savannah, GA store was super helpful and explained everything really well. I hadn't owned a game console in at least 10 years so I needed guidance on what to buy. We have the Bbuy Total Tech which gives me a discount on all tech purchases and extends the warranty period. the Ttech has paid for itself. The game itself is simple enough to set up and has a lot of titles available. I bought 6 games so far. I'm Very pleased with my new X-Box and highly recommend Best Buy along with this unit.

Best Xbox I have ever owned . Always wondered just how much better it could be than the Xbox one and I feel like an idiot now . It’s a whole other level . I do a lot of sim racing and this system can meet the demands of those games no problem. Stock controllers are never my favorite so it gets 4 stars

Honestly, love this Xbox. I went from the OG Xbox One and the difference with how everything looked, how smooth it ran and its much better response with the interface was FANTASTIC! I find it pathetic how some reviews were ranting about the "look" of the Series X instead of it obvious upgrade in performance. Even then I have not a SINGLE problem with how it looks (although it still would have been sick if the top was actually glowing green instead of painted). Its clean, modern and looks great. The one thing I hope Microsoft will take priority in throughout 2021 is working on exclusive content that we'll love. Nonetheless, they did a great job and my games are looking beautiful and playing smooth making my exprience so much better.

Xbox X is king! I have a PS5 and Switch but since I bought my XBox I haven’t touched the other 2 and from now on any cross gen game i will buy ONLY on the Xbox X. I bought the X because of its powerful specs and exclusive console games, especially the ones set to release in 2023. It’s gaming experience is noticeably better than any other console. I’m so impressed that i went out and bought an Oled 4k 120hz TV primarily for this Xbox! Someone please help me! I can’t put this thing down! Dont buy this because you will become addicted!
