This is our second XBox Series X. My wife and I game together and this replaces her XBox One X. We play a variety of games. Been playing a lot of GTA 5 Online and this beast runs it with no issues. Play racing games like Forza and they look incredible. CoD, Dying Light, etc all look amazing. Highly recommend for those looking to upgrade their gaming experience.

The very first game I played was Morrowind, from the original Xbox, it didn’t look horrible amazingly enough. Cyberpunk 2077 looks incredible, and plays much better after projekt red patched a lot of the issues plaguing it. I just need to get a tv that can fully optimize the hdr10, 4K, 120hz potential functionality of the Series X. My only qualm with this system, and what also seems to be an issue from what I’ve heard on the PS5 is how game updates are presented, they tend to interrupt game play at times as they do not preload in the background or when not in use. As was available on Xbox one etc., it’s not a deal breaker because all of the pluses that are afforded by this beautiful system.

Really appreciated that and I didn’t even have to return the first one to get the new deal! Crazy and exactly why I continuously shop at Bestbuy! Never seen my child so Happy before. He clean his room and has kept up every sense this purchase.

If you haven’t upgraded from the S… it’s time. This is significantly faster with restarts nd quite noticeable.

I love it but Ive had every xbox so its to be expected. I will say its extremely quiet and that is the best part. Other than that not a lot of games exclusively for it so TBD. I feel that for all the hype it shouldve been at least 5TB of storage. The amount of storage that a few games takes up gurantees toy have to bu an external hardrive or constantly delete and reinstall games. Its the exact same controller as the previous gen xbox ehich makes software sense. However again back to the hype Elitw controllers should have been standard with this console.

If you want to play a great variety of games it’s pretty good. He has a better repertoire of games in comparison to the PS five. But if you’re looking for a console that provides more immersion, PS five is the way to go. While using headsets, PS five offers 3D audio, whereas with the Xbox, you have to pay a license to use DT X, or Deiby Atmos on your headphones. In the end xbox is focus more towards an “overall entertainment center”, PS five just does games pretty good. One thing that I really enjoy but it seems to be not too big of a detail, is the integration of my Xbox with my smart home. Sometimes I live home and forget turning my Xbox off. I can tell my Google nest to turn it off or on. Also the quick resume feature sounds like a gimmick until you try it.

After a decade + of using my Xbox 360S, I finally upgraded to the Xbox Series X. The Series X lives up to its expectations! Lightning fast load times, great network connectivity, even the quick resume feature on bigger games! Immediatly fell in love with the shape of the console, reminds me of the Gamecube, but its stacked 2 high. Id say this console is a trifecta win!

Everything about this new system just feels premium. From the controller and cords to the Xbox itself. It's not as big as I thought it would be, it actually looks nice compared to the eyesore that is my ps5. Pairs perfectly with my lg cx oled. Check all the boxes for the next gen features. Games look and play super clean in 120fps with vrr on. Older games feel like Brand new games in 60 or 120fps. Now I'm questioning how I was ever able to play games before at 30fps. Well there's definitely no going back now. I've waited this long for the perfect console and it won't hurt to wait a bit longer for true next gen games. Until then I'll be enjoying my current library the way games are supposed to be played.

After gaming on PS4 for the past seven years, it has been a real pleasure coming back to the Xbox platform with the Series X. Most of my old Xbox and X360 games work on this system, albeit with updated graphics and performance, and Game Pass makes it easy to check out some of the big games I missed on X1. The system itself is snappy, loading times are practically eliminated, and setup was so quick and easy (download the Xbox app for your smartphone first and set up your Xbox account there—you'll be grateful you did). And you'll get spoiled fast by Quick Resume—it's tough going back to PS4 after you start using this feature for a few days. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this platform.

Going to leave the indepth tech review to the experts. But things to know. This is HDMI only for audio and video. I have an older TV that does HDMI ARC and thankfully my stereo receiver supports the ARC function also. I mention older TV because it only supports 60 FPS on 4k. I think to get the most out of this console make sure your TV supports 120 FPS. For those with higher end audio Dolby Atmos is a option. It has 2 USB ports so it can support charging two controllers if you use the battery packs.

The Xbox Series X can handle all the online multiplayer shooters I enjoy at 120FPS! I especially love Game Pass, one of the best game subscription services to ever exist. I missed out on Halo growing up, so I’m playing through them all and of course, they run smoothly! I haven’t heard a peep from the console yet, even during long gaming sessions

This system is awesome. Loads faster than any other console I have owned. I really like the quick resume feature for games that start so fast. Loading times are short. Graphics are amazing. The 1TB drive helps me hold like 12 full games from discs on it.

I highly recommend upgrading to the Xbox Series X. The load times for next gen games is extremely quick compared to the Xbox one. I upgraded from an Xbox One X and as far as the picture quality goes, the difference is minimal. This will change once developers utilize the Xbox Series X increased power. You will see a significant increase in overall performance if upgrading from the Xbox one. I’ve enjoyed the few next gen games available and look forward to all the Xbox Series X exclusives being released in 2021. I’ve had zero problems transferring my games via network transfer. The transfer speeds were very quick. If you’re able to upgrade, do yourself a favor and update to the next gen console.

Great system! My first xbox actually. I bought it mainly because of gamepass and the backwards compatability. The backwards compatability is great for playing the great titles I missed out on since the original xbox. The quick resume feature is great and allows for jumping back and forth between multiple games without closing them out and losing progress on any of them. I would also like to add that, that at the time of this review, you can get gamepass ultimate pretty cheap by converting xbox live gold into gamepass at a 1:1 ratio (there are guides online on how to do this). Anyways great system, I look forward to what the future brings for it!

We managed to get our hands on this little guy when it released. There are two features that I love about it. The load times are amazing. I have a Xbox One X, and a Xbox One to compare it to and the marketing is not lying. It is easily twice as fast as the Xbox One X. Newer games like Assassins' Creed Valhalla is a beast for the load times and the Series X makes it darn near seemless. Second thing I love is the quick continue. I never realized how much time I wasted after trying to continue a game, in the initial load up and start time. With the series X I pick up the controller and turn on the tv and my game is right where I left it. To my knowledge the One X and One do not do this.
