The Xbox Series X offers an exceptional gaming experience with its powerful hardware, quick load times, and impressive graphics. Its extensive game library and backward compatibility ensure a wide range of gaming options, making it a fantastic choice for both casual and hardcore gamers alike.

We purchased this a year and a half ago and it's still running perfect. We connected a compatible external hard drive to increase our storage space and had no issues with it detecting it and using it.

There is a lack of exclusives but overall the speed, the ease of use and the design all make this a must own console.

My Xbox One sat in dust for a long time as I switched to PS4 to play their exclusives. Then I got the switch as I waited, temporarily gave up on next-gen, then got lucky and bought the first one I could, which was this. Wow, how happy I am it worked out that way! Performance is fantastic, and I have it paired to a 4K projector that only goes up to 60 Hz, not a TV that could actually do 120 Hz. Loading times are far less a headache with the SSD. The controller is much improved and doesn't creak and groan like the original Xbox controller did during use. It has better grip and quality overall. Otherwise mostly similar to before in design. Also, the OG Xbox controllers will work with it! Games? Backward compatible to original Xbox games, for one. Also, access to Game Pass allowing first day access to tons of games. I did the Live Gold conversion trick and got 3 years of Ultimate for the cost of one. I honestly could just not buy any more games for 3 years and be fine, still have a backlog, as when the Xbox exclusives start cranking out they will be playable by me on day 1. I'm not a fan boy and will most likely get a PS5 at some point, but I'm in much less of a hurry now. I'd like to get a second of these as a gift for my sis and have a gaming buddy. She has an OG Xbox One as well which is painful now by comparison except for some lower-demand games. Family sharing and she can be playing co-op on any other Xbox for free. Xbox is doing a lot of things right. Free quality upgrades to most games. Easy cloud saves for when you switch between devices or come back to a game after even years. This is Xbox's turn to be consumer friendly - hope it lasts a good while.

The Xbox Series X is an odd console to review. It’s certainly great in performance with support for 4K 120Hz HDR and improves performance of all games new and old, but as of now it lacks that “wow” factor that really makes it stand out compared to the older Xbox One X. I’ll admit I originally wanted the PS5 but settled for the Xbox due to lack of supply, but when I say that I mean it in terms of innovation, such as how the PS5’s new controller makes games more immersive with it’s dynamic triggers and rumble motors and a lineup of games both current and speculative based on the studios Sony has that just seem more fun. Looking back at Xbox’s history, there aren’t many unique games and franchises that I can think of; Halo, Gears of War, and Forza are the only major ones that I cared for, and even then those were all basically the same game. Fortunately it seems that Microsoft might actually care about delivering on exclusives this time around with its many studio acquisitions.

I think the Xbox Series X is an awesome console! The graphics are amazing, the load times are super fast, and the controller feels really comfortable. I also love the backwards compatibility feature, which lets you play older Xbox games on the new console. Overall, I think it's a great investment for any gamer!

I upgraded from a standard Xbox One and am so happy that I was able to. The graphics are amazing and it runs so quietly! I love how I can use my extra controllers from my old Xbox One with the new Xbox One X and it came with a free month to try Xbox Game Pass. Overall very happy. I'm a die hard Playstation fan but with them so hard to come by I opted for an Xbox One X instead.

This is the best next gen console out there hands down and I have both meaning ps5. Console is super quiet and dont get really hot unlike my ps5. Also great that it has so much memory and just higher specs than the ps5. Dont know why everyone feels like ps5 is better because it's not. Do yourself a favor and get this console it wont disappoint and the games that u can get for free with only a little monthly fee is CRAZY...so many of them to choose from I'm going crazy...lol.

As a former original Xbox owner, I can appreciate the modern asthetic of the Xbox One X with a throwback to the green accents of the console. I also have a appreciation that they’ve brought back a fair bit of OG xbox games. Fantastic console, great power and asthetically pleasing.

I'm 75 years old and not a big gamer but do enjoy playing. My last console was a 360 so it was long past due to upgrade. The speed, the color and the detail of the new console is mind blowing. I also like the fact I can play most of my 360 games on the new Series X. The newer games are beautiful and very challenging. Plus, it gets the grandkids over more often and I can play online with them.

Wish I never went to PS5 this is much better. Almost use this as much as my pc.

All I can say is that it's lived up to the hype. Super fast load times, unbelievable graphics and quiet as can be.

I had been hesistant to purchase this next-gen console due to the price and the unreliable unit numbers during the pandemic. I am SO glad I stopped waiting and decided to purchase this. For those like me who have been waiting or who don't think it's worth to spend the cash, trust me, it is!!! The new graphics are AMAZING and almost lifelike. The memory is far better than old consoles. This machine can also play blu-rays and the newer format of videos. Best of all, if you're a huge gamer like I am, XBOX is an amazing investment because some of the older xbox games you can just plug in and play. This feature alone makes this worth it. So again, if you're hesitant, do a little research and finally make that choice like I did! I recommend Best Buy because they're always in stock and their employees are always super helpful :) Cheers!

Alright. This thing is amazeballs! I can't wait til more titles get released, because the lack of launch titles is the only negative right now. But the games that have been optomized for it, they are gorgeous! Speed is awesome, titles boot up super quickly, joy pretty much flows to my eyeballs from the moment the little x lights up :-) I have played the ps5 as well, and honestly - they are both great. I like the xbox controllers more, and can't wait for halo infinite.
