Recently upgraded from the xbox one and this console is a life changer. The loading times for every game have greatly decreased and the graphics are amazing.

Long term PlayStation owner ( and original XBOX/360) review: This system is great, great for travel( in my opinion better lasting as compared to the XBOX S) I decided to trade in for the X because of its overall performance. The S was really only good for on the go if you’re not trying to pack too much to go along with wherever you go. However, the X isn’t much bigger and still performs just as great, and can dissipate heat. With the 120hz output and the right TV connect to it, you’ll get the great frames to pair with gameplay. I own 3 gaming computers with similar if not higher frame rates, and this Xbox can keep up! I have an Amazon purchased cooling/charging stand to help with organization and with a couple hours of straight gameplay, no stutter or need to turn off because of overheating. The only thing I say that Microsoft store should do is clean up their UI in their opening menus, it’s not exactly the cleanest of organization but you’ll learn to get around through their Game Pass and other menus.

I already have one Xbox and this console was so good. I had to get another for my non-competitive gaming set up!!! Glad I got it before the price went up too, but even at the price now it’s still worth it!!!

Also, allowing the Xbox to fit in many setups is its matte black color and subtle green finishes, The Xbox can also be stood up and put on the sides, which can aid people in fitting it in their desired location for their setup. This console may not be preferred by users who want a purchase of this size to catch people's eye. Due to its subtle display Summary: After taking all this into account, I can say this Xbox is worth the $500 that it costs. If you don’t play much, don't value the graphics, and are looking for a simple gaming console, maybe look into the Xbox Series S, which costs less but also brings less performance. Keep it in consideration.

I’ve always loved Xbox ever since the very first OG console. It’s wild to think that nearly 22 years later, I’m still purchasing Xbox consoles and games. I love PlayStation and Nintendo too, but Microsoft has always held a special place in my heart. I absolutely Love the Xbox Series X. It’s resilient, powerful, and Gamepass is probably the best subscription plan of any console ever.

I've had countless hours of fun playing alongside my girlfriend. I got hers for her birthday, and it still looks new.

If you're on an XBox One this is certainly with the upgrade. You won't see much changed or different with the Xbox interface but the performance is incredible. Games load super fast and sometimes instantaneous with quick resume. Frame rates and image quality are improved over the Xbox One depending on the title. I play a lot of Warzone and I find that I am usually loaded into the game quicker than even some of the quickest PC players I play with and the graphics details have improved as well as the frame rate. It's not a PC but it's darn close at least in Call of Duty. It definitely competes with lower-end PC builds for sure. The system does run hot but as long as you keep it properly ventilated it won't cause you any issues. If you have an enclosed media cabinet you can orient this on the side but it's advisable to keep the cabinet door open while playing and make sure there's enough room on the top and bottom to allow adequate airflow. You're not going to have any fire hazards as the machine is built to shutdown if it overheats (and I've yet to have that happen to me). But if you aren't allowing proper airflow I cannot attest to your experience there. I don't use the included controller because I have an Microsoft Xbox Elite 2 controller and it works like a charm with this and even takes your settings over from an old Xbox without you having to reconfigure anything. I have held the new controller and it's slightly improved over the Xbox One Controller but nothing vastly different. I'd say it's like a baby version of the Elite 2 controller, no changing thumbsticks or D pad and it doesn't have any paddles that can be mapped on the bottom, but the they do have a better D-pad than the Xbox One default controllers. I have heard some reviewers talk about Xbox vs PS5 and I say go with the console that has all the games you want to play. Xbox Ultimate Game pass offers a great way to access a large library of games as a service. I don't think you get the same thing on the Sony PlayStation Now service, but you also can't play Spider-man Miles Morales on an Xbox (if that even matters to you). If you're gaming on a smaller game monitor or want a PC-lite experience Xbox Series X is the way to go. It supports a variety of PC monitor resolutions like 1440 Enchanced HD and 4K output. Highly recommend this console or an upgrade to this console if you can get your hands on one.

Great 4K gameplay. Fast boot up times for games and quick resume is insane. Way better than PlayStation 5.
