The Xbox Series X blew away my expectations. Game Pass is awesome. You get access to many games on day one. The unboxing experience went above and beyond. Feels like a very premium product. All the games look great in 4K. I read something about many older games being “enhanced” for the modern consoles. We couldn’t tell the difference between older 360 titles and newer Xbox One titles. Everything looks amazing in 4K. The new controller texture is better than previous versions and they added a share button. I personally like Xbox’s removable AA batteries because they last a really long time and are easily swapped out. Our Sony controllers are always going dead and sometimes we have to charge them up before we can use them. Sony has no option to change out batteries like Xbox controllers so that’s a bonus for us. Some people prefer rechargeable controllers and complain about paying extra for the Xbox charge and play kit but standard AA’s last longer than recharging so I don’t see this as an issue. The Series X is almost completely silent but it does push out plenty of hot air. It’s actually enough to warm a small room like a space heater (something to consider). I had to point the exhaust out to the hallway because the kids were complaining that the room was getting uncomfortably hot. There’s no more HDMI pass through which is disappointing for me because I really liked using that feature on older models. Overall, I’m very impressed. The monolith design seems very futuristic and the console is actually physically smaller than I expected.

The Xbox Series X 1TB Console is a game-changer for any avid gamer like myself. Its sleek black design not only looks cool but also fits seamlessly into my entertainment center. The speed is mind-blowing – games load up in a flash, and the graphics are absolutely stunning. Having 1TB of storage means I can download and play a ton of games without worrying about running out of space. One of my favorite things is the backward compatibility – being able to revisit classic games is a nostalgic blast. The user interface is super user-friendly, and I love how easy it is to connect with friends for online gaming sessions. Microsoft has hit the mark with the Xbox Series X, providing an immersive and enjoyable gaming experience that keeps me coming back for more.

I rarely use this thing tbh, but I also have a PS5 and a Switch, which I use more frequently, but that is a preference. I definitely think the backwards compatibility and Game Pass are its greatest assets, because if I boot up this system, it's usually to play an older game, like Conker: Live and Reloaded or Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Just... don't upgrade from an Xbox One X like I did... it really isn't worth it.

I pre-ordered this amazing console from the best business in town. Much respect to Best Buy and their amazing customer service team who came through and had my pre-order ready for my household on day one. Lets get into it: Xbox Series X is THE next generation console. If you don't have one of these or its little sister, the Series S, you don't know what you're missing out on. The gameplay is extremely smooth. For those of us who went to the "other" side last generation its time to come back home. This console has the power, the speed, and its eerily quiet when you're playing it. If you want to take advantage of this system's power you're going to need a smart TV that at least outputs 4K resolution. I wouldn't worry about getting an 8K TV; even the head of XBOX Phil Spencer isn't certain whether 8K will ever be the standard in gaming. The UI is standard across all XBOX consoles, very clean, smooth, and sophisticated looking. If you buy this console you'll need Gamepass. Get the Gamepass Ultimate, for $15 per month you get Gamepass Ultimate which includes Xbox Live. Gamepass unlocks tons of games you can download to the 1TB SSD. Need more space? Best Buy offers an expanded SSD which I believe gives you another TB of space. And you don't need a screwdriver to insert it; you just plug it right into the USB port in the back. Launch titles are scarce but that is the case for any console at launch. With the Zenimax (Bethesda) acquisition XBOX owners have alot to look forward to in the future. Get your hands on one of these while you still can! Its worth the money!

Absolutely Amazing! Super fast, easy to use, and I love the new design!

I bought this just the first star field, can you believe it? Yes you can. I am a tried and true PlayStation fan and have been for years and left Xbox when the red ring of death became an issue and I kept having to fix my Xbox in order to play games for more than an hour like Fallout and Gears which was huge at the time. I don't dislike the xbox, and find that there are just slight differences between the two units. As a gamer I think I would fully choose PlayStation over the Xbox but since they don't sell Starfield on PlayStation, it turned into a what is $700 game? LOL it's a good thing I work very hard for a living to be able to afford this which I encourage everybody to do. So if I had to review this as Coach McGurk I would say that Xboxes are like PlayStations but PlayStations are not like Xboxes.

I recently purchased the Xbox Series X as a Christmas gift for my 12-year-old and 7-year-old sons, and it has been a fantastic addition to our family entertainment. The clarity of the images and the crispness of the games are truly remarkable. The graphics on this console are top-notch, and it's been a joy to see my kids immersed in their gaming experiences. What made this purchase even better was the price I found at Best Buy. The value for the money was exceptional, and the store's customer service made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend both the Xbox Series X and Best Buy for their excellent product selection and pricing. It has brought a lot of joy to our household.

Not much to say. It works exactly like the other Xboxes I've seen from friends and family; includes all the necessities: Online play, Xbox marketplace, Game Pass Core, etc. Recommend the Series X; unlike the Series S, it has a disc drive, and physical media is more important than ever nowadays

The machine is as powerful as a PC, it truly gives an option to still game with the current market contenders. Above all, I enjoy the accesible features in which a Mouse and Keyboard can be used on a console! Its truly the best of both worlds at a fraction of a cost considering how expensive PCs are. Xbox Game pass truly is the biggest cheat code on the market, with newly added titles, OG Games, and even new releases like Black ops 6!
