Switched to Xbox after being a loyal PlayStation fan, and I’m glad I made the switch. Xbox GamePass has the entire family enjoying games due to game offering that appeal to everyone. This console also has very good cooling system. It may not be as sleek as the PS5, but the cooling system allows for much better airflow compared to PlayStations case designs. I went from a ps4 Pro sounding like a small jet running in my living room to a silent running Xbox console.

Have tested the Series X and the PS5 for about 4 months now. As a lifelong gamer, my honest opinion is that it shouldn’t be more than $399.

That said, the performance isn't up to par to (as per reviews) to the PS5.

There were very excited to get it and have enjoyed it since. I already have a series x. I got it for the backwards compatibility. And as I feared - my obscure tastes were not backwards compatible. Had the same problem with the original xbox to the 360 as well. Frustrating that I cannot play the disks that I own, but I can pay for (again) and download the game. May try giving gamepass a try - looks to be the best feature.

I’m a little disappointed with the proprietary storage feature that doesn’t allow for a previous Xbox certified external ssd to store certain games.

While games that have been optimized for Xbox Series X/S may not be played from a standard external hard drive, Xbox 360 and most Xbox One games may be stored and played from it.
