Although I was really excited about this, and so was he, This model constantly needs to update every time you turn it on. It also takes a long time to open up the app of your choice. Our 15-year-old Xbox works better than this one

The load time is much faster than the series s. You can play phisical media, has more storage space, 4k looks amazing, the xbox game pass is really good. Its a great console and machine. I just wish there were more exclusive games.

We began having issues after the 2nd week of use. The console began shutting off randomly for a few days until finally it would only remain on for 5-10 seconds. Googling and a bit of research shows this to be a common problem for people and is a major hardware defect. Something is wrong with the internal power supply in many of these consoles. Buyer beware…

Will look to have repaired when I know the wait time will be shorter. But other than that the console is amazing. Load times are as short as advertised and the 4k resolution is pretty sweet to look at while playing games such as AC Valhalla & NBA 2k21.
