    Xbox series X

The series X for what it is pretty good. It runs my games from 1080 to 4k just fine at 60 to 140Mhz depending on resolution. Its raytracing just like any other machine that can support it is mostly a gimmick for certain games. It still does make those certain games run just about the same at 60 FPS. Some games will limit you to 30fps which sucks but thats a Microsoft problem. Of course xbox has its issues and games have been pretty stale i still have fun with friends and such playing what we like.

    Upgraded from the S

So, I’d originally bought the Series S because I was unable to get my hands on this one even though it was the one I wanted. I wanted to go next gen, but also be able to play copies of games I’d already purchased for the Xbox One X. Great next gen gaming for a reasonable price. I was initially skeptical after purchasing the entry level S console, but it packs a punch. So glad a upgraded. So glad I can start playing my old games and old games I’d never opened as well. A whole new world has opened up for me. I was so impressed with the optional hard drive I purchased with the S I bought a larger one for this one and have tons of storage.

Bought this for my Fiance, she needed an upgrade from her old Xbox. IT's not a PC, but gets the job done.

I bought this for my son last year for Christmas. He loved it but unfortunately over a month ago he sold it. I was so upset and he miss having it. He sold her to get money instead of getting a job. I told him better than that. maybe he’s so depressed

Fantastic Hardware, Not as Many Games

Beautiful, modern console. I have this sitting on a shelf side by side with the PS5, and your eyes go straight to the xbox Series X. It just looks so much better. Controller is solid and slightly refined over the Xbox One's controller. The only downside to the Series X is that there was not a lot to play at launch, just all the previous Xbox One games. There is not anything exciting or new right now. A positive is the Xbox Game Pass, if you do not want to commit to buying games on a regular basis, you can get Xbox Game Pass for a monthly subscription, and then have a huge variety of games to play with no additional cost. Therefore, there are many pros and cons. I use my Xbox Series X for Game Pass games and third party games. I have my PS5 for all the Sony exclusives, which are my favorite games.

    Loving my new Series X!

The Series X is a noticeable upgrade even from the Xbox OneX. Not only are the game load times incredibly fast because of the SSD, the graphics are noticeably better on my 4K tv. The graphics processing is much more powerful, taking full advantage of the HDR and frame rate capabilities of my tv even more so than the OneX. This creates a very smooth, visually satisfying experience when gaming and watching 4K content. Being an Xbox user, the setup was also incredibly fast and easy. Using the Xbox app on my iPhone, I was able to instantly link my Microsoft account, and set my new series X up quickly with my preferred games and apps. I’ve had it for almost a month now, and I would absolutely recommend if you are thinking of upgrading to the latest generation of gaming consoles.

I’ve had this Xbox for a few years now and have no complaints. This is a perfect game system and using it with GamePass is a no brainer. I love being in the Xbox ecosystem and having access to all of my games from previous consoles. This Xbox has been out for a while now and I still feel that it’s ahead of its time.

It’s okay, looks nice and has good performance and all. But the amount of games are lacking tbh. I also hate the controller. The buttons feel very cheap, esp the ab/xy ones compared to a PS5 controller. And it having a rechargeable battery is a huge bummer. Using AA batteries in a controller for a $500 console seems cheap. Love the console design though. It s fan of the UI, however. Not enough Xbox exclusives to really make it worth my time, personally. Bought in May 2024 and used it only in December when Indiana jones came out.

The Series X is an impressive piece of technology. I've been enjoying just trying games out both old and new just to see how well they perform with the speed and graphical upgrades. My only real negative is the less than 1tb of harddrive space. Because part of it is used by the operating system, you're starting with less than a tb. New games and older ones with graphic enhancements can eat that up quickly. This can be upgraded but it can add a decent amount of money to the price. Overall though worth every penny.

This console has been excellent so far. Its received near daily use between my wife and myself. Playing games at a silky smooth framerate has been nice and the visual quality that is able to be afforded by certain games thanks to the processing and GPU power has been nothing short of excellent. Well worth the price paid. Only gripe I have is that I wish a 2TB version existed just because the size games are achieving nowadays.

I love this console. It's a one stop shop. I can do anything I need on it. I play videogames, listen to music and keep up with my friends from all over the U.S. and beyond. The quality of the graphic even from an HD television is above and beyond my expectations.
