Xbox Series X runs great.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great purchase. Actually qualified through Citizens One to purchase this system. Don’t mind paying roughly 40$ a months for a system and live ultimate

A great entry point for gaming with lots of value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordering and picking up the Xbox was a breeze. I am a fan of the slow rollout Best Buy does for items in high demand, I hope that trend is used for the RTX 3080 graphic cards when they are back in stock as I am still struggling to find one anywhere. As far as the Xbox Series X is concerned it is lightning fast and lets older games shine with higher framerate, resolution and even texture quality. Game Pass is a no brainer for anyone who owns a console from the Xbox family, but with the Series X it provides tons of different games to mess around with as we wait for more next gen games to take full advantage of the hardware. Now for some drawbacks. The console has a habit of hard crashing in almost any game (could be just me, but I saw similar issues online). The speed of the console allows you to get right back where you were after a crash so it mitigates frustration, but no one likes to crash in the middle of an online match or when you haven't saved in a while for a singleplayer game. All-in-all the Xbox Series X improves upon the strong foundation Microsoft and Xbox set in place by the end of the Xbox One generation, which is impressive considering how poor that generation started. If you are interested in getting into gaming yourself, want a gaming console for multiple generations, or if your curious about the value of Game Pass, it is hard to go wrong with an Xbox Series X this generation. Simply more bang for your buck, from hardware to software. Excited to see what games become these consoles defining pieces!

gave up and went the all access route
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after several attempts and disappointments with drops i bit the bullet and went the all access route. paid it off as soon as i could and it was minimal extra hoops to jump through to get one. sucks paying retail for 2yrs game pas ultimate but i was going to get it anyway and at least there's some value there as opposed to paying some bot running scalper extra money for nothing.

Good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome system, huge improvement over last gen. Will of the wisps is practically unplayable on one s with all the stuttering but smooth as butter on Series X.

Top notch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great upgrade for anyone except maybe the most recent Xbox One version. The hard drive is really small, and external space isn't really an option for Series X games (has to be installed on the internal hard drive), and expanding it with additional memory slot that acts as an internal hard drive isn't available just yet (and when it is it will be stupid expensive for a while). But, if you don't have data caps on your internet and can download/redownload plenty of games, you'll be amazed. Load speeds are amazing, suspension is great (not great as the family-friendly competitor's device but still incredible), and if you get this you should definitely get the Xbox game pass.

Save Money, Go With Play Station
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Struggles to run BG3 and sometimes Cyberpunk; overheats and closes application. We purposefully bought the more advanced model to avoid this, but I recommend going with Play Station.

Xbox series x
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great so far. Excellent processor. Runs at extreme velocity can pickup games right away. Looks great in 4K on 70 inch tv. Feels like games run smoother. Can’t wait to play new ncaa football game which is mostly why I got it because they aren’t making games for old generation consoles anymore.

Its pretty good….but.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to play a great variety of games it’s pretty good. He has a better repertoire of games in comparison to the PS five. But if you’re looking for a console that provides more immersion, PS five is the way to go. While using headsets, PS five offers 3D audio, whereas with the Xbox, you have to pay a license to use DT X, or Deiby Atmos on your headphones. In the end xbox is focus more towards an “overall entertainment center”, PS five just does games pretty good. One thing that I really enjoy but it seems to be not too big of a detail, is the integration of my Xbox with my smart home. Sometimes I live home and forget turning my Xbox off. I can tell my Google nest to turn it off or on. Also the quick resume feature sounds like a gimmick until you try it.

An experience worth $500
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is about the console experience that I have had in a long time, and that is to say I have owned many consoles. In comparison to its PS5 counterpart, all of the features are given to out of the box. Meaning there is no special update that enables storage expansion, or leaves you wondering why 120Hz refresh isn't enabled. Everything works the way it was intended to, and there is nothing left on the table. Also, even though it looks like a fridge, at least it doesn't waste plastic on a flamboyant design, and is highly practically. Hopefully this gives a better idea of what it is like to own this console.

Not worth the price for not working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a lot to set up. Why is there so many people that have issues with the disc reading? This console cost too much to not work properly. I just picked up a few days ago couldn’t start playing until now and can’t even play the game I purchased. Now I have to make a trip back to bestbuy with this console to see what’s going on.

No issues so far.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No issues so far. Performs better than my old Xbox One-s. It would be nice if it came with 2TB of storage without having to purchase an external drive.

First Launch Console is a success
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything so far with the console is working as advertised. I didn't think that quick resume would be as big of deal as it is, but it makes a drastic difference. It's insane how fast games load from a cold start or start from quick resume. I have an elite 2 controller so I don't use the controller that came with the console that much. It is also insanely quiet and I completely forget it's in a room sometimes when it's on. It does get hot sometimes but it has been very random with what games make it hot. The only game that has made it noticeably hotter was Fortnite (please don't flame me it was the only game I had installed at the time lol) and that seems to be it.

Good Piece of Home Entertainment Hardware
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I preordered my Xbox around 2 pm the day pre orders released and Best Buy’s servers were shored up. Picked it up the day Xbox released at 6am and didn’t even have to swipe my card. I’m not going to debate Xbox/PlayStation/PC. This is a solid video game counsel. Fast load time, beautiful dashboard, TV monitor is the only thing holding back graphic performance unless you have a 4K/8k 120hz... Xbox lacks first party exclusives but makes up for it with game pass’s ever expanding library of new and nostalgic games. The system itself looks like it fits in just about anywhere. I would compare its looks to a PC tower or large sound bar. Can’t wait for Halo Infinite!

Next gen has begun.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can’t wait till developers tap into the power of this beast. Going back and playing previous games from my one x and it’s a significant improvement especially with games that have been optimized for the series x. Borderlands 3 for instance is like playing a completely new game at 60 FPS. Only down side is the storage only being able to hold about 600 gigs internally and considering once they start balling out with technology games will be well over 100 gigs. Also wish it came with the elite 2 controller cause we know dang well that thing should not cost a third of the actual system. All in all though, I am very satisfied so far

Great console with all the bells and whistles!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Xbox Series X is a fantastic device! You get the beefy powerful GPU that slightly edges out the PS5, but even better is the ecosystem of the platform. Microsoft fully embraced backwards compatibility, so many games from the original Xbox all the way to the list recent Xbox One can be played on this one console. It's too good not to take advantage of, and as long as they keep it up, I'll keep getting their consoles. Beyond that, you have access to Gamepass for a monthly fee, but it essentially allows you to download and play a ton of games, even brand new ones!

Favorite game console ever
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."The only Xbox you need" is the most accurate statement I have heard about this console. Runs the games I've always wanted to play with ease. I've had it for quite a while now and it holds up just as well as it did day one. The fact they redid old games to run better on the X makes it such a great value too. Proven longevity, it will be good for years to come.
