My 15 yr old loves his new xbox, came with a controller but we also got a galaxy themed one so we could have multiple players. It does require a subscription to play online, but we got a bunch of free games with that subscription so ended up being worth it. Easy setup and came with the HDMI cable to connect to the tv

Best console for the best price. Really can’t be beat. The graphics and FPS are next level. The loading times for games is astronomical. The real minding blowing feature is the “Quick Resume” feature which allows you to dashboard from a game, start up a new one and then go back to that previous game later and have you transported instantly back to where you were in a matter of seconds. You can even dashboard, turn the console off for a few days and then start up the game with the quick resume and you’re back in faster than if you had to reload the game every time you wanted to play it.

Xbox is miles behind the Ps5. The menus are laggy and stale. Xbox party chat is unbearable. The controller is decent and feels good in the hands.

Why buy a pc with this monster of a unit existing? You dont. You own pc players.

Even though I was a big fan of my Xbox One X, the Xbox Series X is a fantastic step up. The controller has been subtely updated but the textured grips are really comfortable and make an already top tier controller even better. The system is lightning fast and boots up almost instantly. Games load up almost instantly as well. Couple this with the insane value of Xbox Game Pass and the value for your money is insane. All peripherals (controllers, headsets, charging stations) also carry forward to Series X so you won't be forced to buy extra controllers or new stuff if you don't want to spend the money.

Finally got my hands on one. Not disappointed. Now able to take advantage of 4K and other newer display tech.

Love this consul. Series X is the way to go. Don’t pickup the series S version.

Upgraded from a series s to the x and it was the best idea. I can play all my old xbox games that I have on disk and have some more space to start with. Was only able to download like 3 games on the series s without the expandable card at least I can download more then that now. Also to note I use an elgato capture card 4k mk2 to stream the system to twitch the series s would not let me use 1440p at 120 only 1080p at 120 the series x had no issues with that and automatically set the highest settings for me.

Bought for the 4k xbox games on game pass. Looks great.

Its great! All of my games load faster and look better, I am so happy I decided to upgrade.

Had the One X before this and despite that console also being 4K capable, the Series X blows it out of the water. The graphics are noticeably better, and the load times are incredibly fast. It is relatively quiet as well. Transferring to the new console could not have been any easier, and all my games from the last console were waiting to be downloaded in upgraded versions, which was pretty great. If I had one nitpicking complaint it’d be the aesthetic design-the thing looks horrible in my media stand-but that doesn’t bother me particularly.

MS flight sim running smooth as butter, and the graphics are beautiful.

Awesome machine. Easy pickup. But if you’re buying the all access pass. The 24 months of Xbox live is tied to the console you buy.

Great, would recommend. Nice graphics. Really the only complaint is the heat when keeping it stored in a cabinet, no way should you run it with the cabinet closed so I had to turn the console somewhat awkwardly to allow the fan to blow heat out unobstructed, then turn it back before I store it again.

Back in the day I was an Xbox fan. I have purchased each Xbox system through the years. I never used to care for PlayStation (although I have had every PlayStation since the PS1). I bought PlayStation and Xbox to play online games with different friends. Previously, I thought the Xbox had better home screens and was easier to get around. I have had have the PS5 as well. I primarily bought this to play starfield and the system was $150 off sale. Starfield is ok...so is the Xbox...both just ok. Ultimately if I could only get one system, it would be the PS5. If you prefer Xbox...get it, you will love it. Maybe hold off on starfield though. Seems like continuous loading screens.

Very fast and games look great. No games ypu cant play on the xbox you have now. If you get 1. Let your current gold run out. Or if your new to xbox live. Buy 2-3 years of gold for $60 ea year. And up grade it to ultimate for $1 (or $15 if you used the 1$ ultimate upgrade and let it run out) and convert that 2-3 years of gold to ultimate and have until 2024. All the games wit game pass ea pass and more has had me playing a lot of games i woulda never bought or tried. Ive been playing it more than my PS5( which is also no biggie yet. So dont sweat it).

A great next gen console. Graphics and images are great for running 4k at 60 fps. I have a 120 fps tv and the difference between 60 and 120 are like night and day. The smoother the better. Load spped and game quality is great. Console capacity not that good, out fo the box is under 800gb for storage. I recommend a external ssd or hdd for additional storage space. And can also play most xbox one games and some xbox 360 games.

Great console. It's quite compact for its power, and everything feels very smooth. I have a huge backlog of games, and playing them with performance boosts is just excellent. I don't ever want to go back to 30 FPS games after owning the Series X. Some features that are offered by the Series X may look like they are gimmicks; however, they definitely contribute to the quality of life. I was playing F1 2019 and my spouse came in wanting to play Tekken. We've played Tekken for 5-10 min and I've gone back to F1 2019. It was almost as if we've never played Tekken, I was back at racing in only 5 seconds!

It's the best console I ever spent my money on and I love it.
