I purchased the Xbox X to upgrade from my older Xbox One. It represents a significant speed improvement over the old system. I'm glad I made the upgrade.

If you loved the Xbox One platform but hated the endless buffering, long load times, and sub 1080p resolutions at 30 FPS, you should really consider upgrading. Not only will you get to enjoy the benefits of 3 years worth of Xbox One X enhanced games, but you'll also get to enjoy ridiculously short load times, higher resolutions, and more consistent framerates without any of the quirks of the Xbox One. Plus, with Gamepass, you really can't find a more well rounded entry into the new gen.

Great console especially if you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate. I primarily play on PlayStation (PS5), but the value of Game Pass is undeniable. If you are a hardcore console gamer you definitely need to pick up a Series X. The purchase process with Best Buy was very smooth and I had no issues. I placed my order online and then picked up in store when I was notified my order was ready.

This was the best Christmas gift! My daughter is a gamer and she was amazed when she saw this nice well built console!

First console purchase since the original xbox one. The one X is an amazing console, very fast the load times for games is almost not existant. And with 4k graphics so far it's performed exactly how i need it to and more

It's hard to find a better gaming console platform than you get with XBOX. The gaming horsepower is amazing and buying it at Best Buy with its selection and sale make a good thing GREAT!

Solid console. The UI is the exact same as the Xbox One so, unlike the updated UI from PS4 to PS5, the experience of booting up the system and making it to the Home Screen felt underwhelming. System is quiet and performs well. Noticeable video quality difference from last gen consoles. The texture on the controller is nice, I just wish they didn’t feel small. I’ve always had trouble with the Xbox controller grip angle and trigger placement because I have large hands, but that’s more personal preference. All the consoles need more space. At least you get closer to a true 1TB of stock space without any additional hard drives vs the PS5 with around 800GB stock.

Nice device. Never had a bad experience with Xbox/microsoft. Honestly chose this one because it has a disc port.

Finalky decided to upgrade from xbox one. What a difference. Amazing loading speed for the games. One drawback is that the games have become robust and large file sizes. And even 1Tb is not enough if you want to have more than 6 games.

Awesome game console would definitely recommend you have a 4K tv to truly get all out of the system

It's big, it's fast, it's quiet. I've had a Series X since launch. I recently bought another as a gift. I love how quiet the Series X is. Games are faster too, obviously. Did I mention that it's big? The biggest downside of the quietness is the form factor. Such an awkward shape that won't fit easily in most home theater set ups, especially if you have a rack or cabinet of any kind. I've placed it sideways, but it takes up so much wasted space that way. I get that it's designed to be placed upright on top of a table or entertainment center, but c'mon. I don't need more clutter on my table. Another miss is the lack of optical or SPDIF output, so you're stuck with HDMI for audio. The easiest solution was to buy a cheap HDMI audio splitter from Amazon. But then there's no compatibility with HDMI 2.1. Will have to get a much more expensive splitter later. All in all, Love the more powerful graphics upgrade. Not a fan of the hardware form factor and recycled UI from older XBox generation.

Great to finally have a modern console that can push both 4k 60fps Gaming and some 120fps gaming. The design of the Xbox allows it to utilize a large fan for cooling which means that it can move more air with less fan speed keeping it quiet and cook at the same time. A big step up from what we used to see in console design. Microsoft's efforts to make gaming as accessible as ever with GamePass also makes this one amazing console!

This console screams! Older games look better! Everything loads faster and newer games like Valhalla are amazing visually. Quick resume is a great feature. Add on Gamepass and you have a great catalog to start with. Even though I am a Playstation owner as well, it has done nothing but collect dust on my shelf as Microsoft has really pushed a customer-first strategy where Sony seems to be stuck in trying to squeeze their customers for extra money at every opportunity.

Very silent fan design; can be used horizontally and vertically. A very iterative design; just like the Xbox One X before and the S before that. Two nice things: - You do not have to make this Xbox your "home Xbox" anymore (so you can have a couple in the house) - Backward compatibility is very nice Accepts external SSDs (limited selection and size available for now) to install games to (at the time of this writing the PS5 does not). Speaking of the PS5, it is much smaller than the PS5.
