Upgraded from the xbox one s console and immediately I noticed faster load times and being able to switch between enormous games like valhalla and skyrim with no load time is truly amazing. Get this system.

I definitely love this system.

I would recommend either of them, the graphics are amazing, the load times even more amazing, and they're both compact enough to not take up huge amounts of room, like their counterpart PS5...

Start up is very very quick and the SSD allows for multiple games to be open at one time which is very nice, graphics are good but could be better, also have had a few games like COD crash pretty often when running in 4K, also after initial setup you only get around 800gb of usable space instead of the promised TB. Side note; there is no optical cable port in the back anymore so headsets that rely on that will require an additional piece of equipment to use again(to its full potential[Astro A40]) Worth $500? No, BUT, hoping for more Xbox exclusive games for the Series X/S that feel like you actually need a $500 console to play, and utilize the consoles full potential. Also, the controller that came with mine has a sticky trigger, which is Microsoft’s fault due to adhesive residue left in the place where a small pad should be to stop the trigger from hitting the plastic when fully pressed, which was missing.

But when I went to best buy I asked and sure enough they had one. I saved it to report card time. He got straight A's in all of his classes. So the X box was him reward. He was ecstatic. His excitement was priceless.

It seems expensive but for the money you'd be challenged to build out a desktop with half these specs. Very happy with it and it looks great too. Just wish Halo Infinite didn't get delayed to next year. Oh well, I'll have to enjoy playing other titles until then.

In a good way. The response time with the graphics output gets you so close to the pc experience while not breaking your wallet too much.

Even though you will eventually have to purchase more space which right now runs about $200. The graphics are Ah-mazing as well. Currently trying to buy another one. I just can't seem beat the scalpers and bots this go round.
