More Than a Console – A Bond Between Father and So
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought the Xbox Series X, I thought I was just getting the latest and greatest gaming console. What I didn’t expect was how it would bring me and my son closer than ever. My son and I have always had a good relationship, but between work, school, and life in general, we were starting to drift into our separate routines. I wanted something we could share—something that wasn’t forced or scheduled, just a way to enjoy each other’s company again. That’s when the Xbox Series X came into our lives. From the moment we unboxed it together, it became more than just a gaming system. We stayed up late setting it up, exploring Game Pass, and picking out our first games. The joy on his face when we played Forza Horizon, the teamwork in Halo Infinite, the laughter during Minecraft—those are moments I’ll never forget. It’s become our evening ritual—an hour or two of gaming side by side, talking, strategizing, and simply enjoying being together. I’ve learned more about what’s on his mind during these sessions than in a dozen car rides or dinner table talks. The Xbox Series X gave us the gift of time together, and in today’s world, that’s priceless. It’s not just a powerful machine—it’s a bridge between generations, a source of connection, and something I’ll always be grateful for. If you're a parent considering this console, don’t just think of the specs or the games—think of the memories you’ll create. Because that’s the real win.

Purchase for my teen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son has not come out of his room in days. Great system, easy set up, sleek design. He did mention that the controller ghosted. Honestly don’t really know what that means. He mentioned the player moved without touching the controller knob. He used his old reliable controller instead of the one from the box.

Top of the line
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X 1 terabyte console is a top of the line gaming console with plenty of memory, an optical drive and hand controller included. I wanted the optical drive since it makes adding already purchased games from earlier Xbox, an easy task. The display capability is excellent, as long as you have a 4 K television. Very satisfied.

Power, speed, and an impressive gaming experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is a true performance beast. Load times are virtually nonexistent, and games look spectacular in 4K, with a smoothness that makes all the difference. The design is sleek and quiet, and the system runs smoothly and quickly. Quick Resume is fantastic—being able to switch between multiple games without losing progress is something you won't want to give up once you try it. Plus, with Game Pass, the experience gets even better: hundreds of games available instantly. Definitely a next-generation console in every sense of the word. It's worth every penny!

Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, and it’s built to impress gamers of all types. From jaw-dropping visuals to ultra-fast load times, this console delivers a premium gaming experience. But is it worth the investment? Let’s dive in. First Impressions: Sleek and Simple The Xbox Series X sports a clean, tower-like design that fits easily into most entertainment setups. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical and well-built. The matte black finish resists fingerprints, and the vented top ensures it stays cool even during marathon gaming sessions. Performance You Can Feel If you’re tired of slow load times or choppy gameplay, the Series X is here to change that. With its powerful AMD processor and graphics card, this console runs games in stunning 4K resolution, often at 60 or even 120 frames per second. You’ll notice the difference immediately, especially if you’re upgrading from an older system. The Quick Resume feature is a standout—you can switch between multiple games in seconds without losing progress. For busy gamers, this is a game-changer. Games That Wow (But There’s a Catch) The Series X makes old games feel new again, thanks to enhanced backward compatibility. You can play classics from Xbox One, Xbox 360, and even the original Xbox with improved graphics and smoother performance. However, the library of true next-gen exclusives is still growing. While hits like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 show off the console’s power, there aren’t as many must-have exclusives compared to competitors—yet. Storage: Room to Grow The built-in 1TB SSD is lightning-fast, but you only get about 800GB of usable space, which can fill up quickly with modern games. Microsoft offers an official expansion card to add more storage, but it’s on the pricey side. For now, managing your game library will be a bit of a juggling act. Game Pass: The Best Deal in Gaming One of the biggest reasons to choose the Xbox Series X is Game Pass. This subscription service gives you access to hundreds of games, including new releases, for a monthly fee. Whether you’re into indie gems or AAA blockbusters, Game Pass offers something for everyone, making the Series X an even better value. Who Should Buy the Xbox Series X? Hardcore Gamers who want cutting-edge performance and 4K visuals. Casual Gamers looking for an affordable way to access a massive game library through Game Pass. Families who appreciate backward compatibility, allowing older games to shine on the new hardware. Final Thoughts The Xbox Series X isn’t just a console—it’s an investment in your gaming future. It’s powerful, versatile, and built to last. While it still needs more exclusive titles to fully dominate, the combination of hardware performance and Game Pass makes it a smart buy for gamers at any level. Rating: 9/10 If you’re ready to upgrade your gaming setup and want a console that delivers on all fronts, the Xbox Series X is a no-brainer.

Great console for games and media
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased it through the best buy app. It was available for pickup within hours. I came to the store and was assisted quickly. The console itself is great. It's my all in one solution in the office for media. I can play games using either physical copies or purchasing online. Everything runs great and the blu ray playback is great.

Great Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Xbox has great graphics, and a wonderful upgrade to my Xbox One. I appreciate the new features and the speed at which it operates in comparison to my old Xbox One. I definitely prefer it to the PS5. Having the option for 1TB as a base model is pretty great compared to the older models as well which started at a lower storage capacity.

Gaming Obelisk
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from an Xbox One X to the Series X and the jump in performance was still impressive. Though I never had issues with Cyberpunk on my One X but this Unit of a machine brought it to the next level. I don’t like that Microsoft took away some of the inputs/outputs that the One X had like optical out and having an HDMI input/output. The thing is huge, there’s definitely room to keep those. Overall a good bump in performance for this generation.

Better design than the PS5 and just as powerful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've officially crossed enemy lines. I, a lifelong PlayStation loyalist, have succumbed to the siren song of the Xbox Series X. And honestly? I'm... impressed. (Don't tell my PS5.) Let's get the obvious out of the way: this thing is a beast. Visually, it's a sleek, minimalist monolith. It's like a tiny, powerful fridge for your gaming needs. My PS5, bless its curvy, futuristic heart, looks like a Wi-Fi router designed by a space alien. The Series X? It's all business. Performance-wise, it's a knockout. Games load lightning-fast, the graphics are crisp, and the frame rates are smoother than a jazz saxophonist on a Sunday morning. The quick resume feature? Game changer. Jumping between titles without waiting for loading screens is pure, unadulterated bliss. It's like having a gaming teleporter. Now, let's talk about Game Pass. This is where the Xbox really shines. It's like Netflix for games, but without the awkward password sharing with your cousin. The sheer volume of titles available is staggering. I've rediscovered old favorites, stumbled upon hidden gems, and even dabbled in genres I wouldn't normally touch. It's like a gaming buffet, and I'm going back for seconds... and thirds. The controller? It's... comfortable. It's not as flashy as the DualSense, but it's ergonomic and responsive. The asymmetrical stick placement? It took some getting used to, but now I'm wondering why every controller isn't designed this way. It's like discovering a new, more comfortable way to hold a spoon. Of course, no console is perfect. The UI can be a bit clunky at times, and I do miss the haptic feedback of the DualSense. And let's be honest, the lack of certain PlayStation exclusives stings a little. But overall, the Xbox Series X is a formidable machine. As a PlayStation convert, I can confidently say that the Xbox Series X is a worthy contender. It's powerful, it's versatile, and Game Pass is a game-changer. If you're looking for a next-gen console that delivers on its promises, the Xbox Series X is a solid choice. Just don't tell my PS5 I said that. It's already feeling a little neglected.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's ugly, but it's great. Game pass adds extra value if you're someone who likes to try a lot of games without the commitment of buying them all, or you're a parent of a kid who goes through games like candy. Also, financing it with game pass for two years, assuming you're going to keep game pass that long, makes this a no brainer purchase. Cheaper than financing your cell phone. Backwards compatible with most things, some 360 titles too, including One S/X controllers. It's big and ugly, but that's really the only downside.

Amazing things in well designed unit !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great system. My partner and I enjoy the racing games and with the game pass promotion , it was a clear win. It’s an all in one entertainment system for gaming , and apps to watch movies , music and it works with Microsoft Flight Sim and works with out smartphone devices Alexa. The design is low profile , you can either stand it up or lay on the side (rubber feet) . It’s modern looking and fits nice with out decor . It’s modesty is not in your face visually. The picture quality is epic and man is it fast. I switched from an Xbox one. I’m very happy I made the upgrade.

Xbox Series X works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Runs new games and old ones that my son and i played years ago. Smooth game play and the old games even look better. Game pass has lots of good titles and there are sales all the time on games that are not on game pass. Buy em straight from the console. Xbox Series X sets up easy with an Xbox account. I actually move mine around to different locations in the house and take to the camper also. The included controller, HDMI, and power cable is all thats needed. I did get a Logitech G920 Steering Wheel and Pedal set and it all works together great.

Great for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switched from my $1200 gaming laptop due to lack of use in other departments (really just games) ran games like rocket league, borderlands, COD, etc with inconsistent frame rates at times with online gaming, switched over and battlefield 6 runs infinitely better, buddies have $2000 spec’d out rigs and complain about graphics and frames, haven’t had an issue yet, wish I coulda gone more storage but I can expand when the need presents itself
