Only thing I wish was that there were more exclusive games dedicated to the series x. As a gaming machine I am very impressed with how fast and how quiet it is.

Big upgrade if your last xbox was the OG Xbox one

But honestly this has been a pretty awesome system: - super quiet (can't emphasize this enough) - 120fps fortnite! - game pass ultimate is actually pretty awesome especially since I had three years of live gold available that you can upgrade to ultimate for $1!!?!?! - the games on ultimate are great. I've been playing the two Ori games, dragon warrior, gears series, etc Only complaint is the whacky twitch interface and streaming issues when compared to ps4/pro. Xbox is much more difficult to get right and I'm never 100% certain if my stream will work properly. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with this next gen console!

So far it plays all my old games flawlessly, and with MUCH quicker loading times thanks to the new SSD storage system. All my old games and controllers work, and I couldn't be happier. So far not too many games take advantage of the increased power over the Xbox One, but that'll change with time. My only complaint is that the SSD is only 1 TB capacity, and an expansion drive costs over $200 if you want the performance to match the onboard storage. With modern games taking up to 200 GB of space (looking at YOU Call of Duty), 1 TB isn't really enough if you don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall games all the time.

THE XBOX ONE VERSIONS WILL PLAY, BUT CAUSED MY BOX TO SHUT OFF FREQUENTLY. DELETED AND REINSTALLED CORRECT VERSION, NO PROBLEMS SINCE.

However game pass is such an unbelievable deal that I ended up buying an Xbox one. Xbox one s and Xbox one x. Now this was a day one purchase. Love it.

Easy to connect and use. Only downsides are occasional glitches with restarting games.
