He was having issues with Fortnite disconnections in matches on his Switch, even with a dedicated WiFi for his gaming. He has zero lag and I cant tell you as a parent how happy I am.

A great system, even without a killer game

The OS is snappy, with little to no lag unlike the One X. I transferred games over via an external drive and was up and running in no time. Games like Gears 5 look great, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also looks amazing and the load times are nearly non existent. It’s just a bit of a shame there was no “killer app” available for the Series X at launch, something everyone could point to as the benchmark of what it can do. All early indications show that the skies the limit with the Series X and I’m excited to see where we go in the next few years.

My console has no technical issues and the gaming experience is great, especially with the quick resume function and enhanced graphics for new games. Only down side is that the Series X software is almost the same as its predecessor.

I had the Xbox One X before and this is a massive upgrade. The biggest difference is the ability to play games in 120hz mode. This is the biggest difference because I honestly play games like COD and Halo, which are both available on the One X but cannot do 120fps. It's a perfect box for 120fps gaming an also to use as a media center with a 4k Blu Ray player.
